Can only agree with a previous review on this one. Stayed in the Nelson room, which was comfortable, clean, tea/coffee, etc, - but tiny. Okay for one night, but no longer. Excellent location in the centre of a very pleasant town. Plenty of places to eat and drink and good range of shops. Freshly cooked breakfast - get your own... More

stayed for a weekend on a "living social" deal. We were greeted by the very nice landlord & enjoyed a welcome drink with the friendly locals. Our room "the nelson suite" was the tiniest bedroom I have ever slept in, there was just enough room to manoeuvre around the 4ft bed, one at a time, with absolutely no chance of... More

Stayed on a one night deal with breakfast and free drink each. Room bit on the small side ( Charles 1 ) but decorated well and very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast cooked fresh. No food served in the evening but plenty of paces to eat nearby.

Maybe the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in! Room was small and old fashioned (maybe not surprising--the building is 14 or 15 century), and cold on a terrible mid-June day. We were not warned of a 'disco night' when we booked. The music went on--very loudly--until after midnight, and then the revellers continued in the courtyard underneath our room for... More

Room is very nice. Everything was simple but new but the bed was a bit small. Bathroom was very good. Breakfast was the best part. Food was made on demand and was delicious. The problem was check out was too early: 10am. You should not stay in this hotel if you are on vacation and planning to sleep late.

It's a nice pub with rooms! The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were good. No complaints at all. If you come expecting an hotel then you might be disappointed though. Also, they don't serve food in the evening.

first impression good - nice bar, clean room but downhill from there: out of date milk in room on arrival poor attention to detail - no biscuits left or teabags replaced on my last day I got back from a hard day of work to find my room untouched - unmade bed, towels in the bath, bin not emptied and... We stayed at The Swan Hotel as we were visiting family who live nearby. We found it to be the perfect place for us, right in the middle of Thame with easy parking. The room was immaculate, the staff very friendly and accommodating. In the evening we decided to have a drink in the hotel bar and was presently surprised... More

Was enjoying quite drink in this lovely pub, complete with log burner, until the locals took over the bar area, making us feel very uncomfortable. Loud, disrespectful individuals making comments about where we were from. Not locals we were made to feel second class, especially by one individual, we decided to leave promptly and will avoid in future. The lady... More

We stayed at The Swan Hotel in July 2014 for a friends wedding. Rooms are good and the breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very flexible accommodating a late check in. Would recommend to others visiting the area.
