My mum and I visited The Oxfordshire as part of a spa day package (although I have been previously and stayed at the hotel, which is very nice). The spa area itself is pretty small, but had all you need for an afternoon of relaxation - steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi, gym. The treatment rooms are lovely and all the... More

I work locally to this wonderful hotel and country club and we have secured a corporate rate to stay here, although I know you savvy folk will also know how to get a good price! The location is beautiful wonderful views of the golf course and countryside are available from many rooms and places in the hotel such as the... More

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel as we were having a long weekend visiting Oxford. The hotel is very smart and set well away from the road. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and lovely large bathrooms. Unfortunately we had to ask for a change of room after the first night as our room overlooked the area... More

Let's be honest, this isn't a hotel...its a private golf club with some rooms attached! The long sweeping drive is impressive, but the building...a modern construction with pillars at the front entrance(!) isn't anything to shout about...it just looks like a golf club or a leisure centre with carpet! Inside it's as you would expect...the walls have wooden panels with... More

This is the first time we have stayed here and we will definitely come back ... The course was in wonderful condition despite the rough been challenging hence why is called rough. The two young lads in the proshop were very welcoming and even manged To talk me into buying some new shoes which is a rarity ... They were... More

Just had an overnight stay at The Oxfordshire when visiting for a friends wedding locally. The hotel was very clean and rooms were a superb size. The nicest part of the hotel was it's location and outlook of the rolling golf course. The breakfast in the morning was really tasty and all staff were very attentive and polite. I'd definitely... A small group of golfers stayed here for 2 rounds of golf with Dinner bed and Breakfast. The situation is tranquil, picturesque and beautifully maintained. The golf course is immaculate, not as daunting or difficult as it seems but you need to have a long accurate drive off most of the tees. The hotel is spacious, modern with exceptionally friendly... The location of the hotel is very good and nice and quiet. Rooms were a fair size and nice enough but could have been a bit cleaner. Staff were nice and polite but not very informative- an example being they didn't tell us where our rooms were located and if breakfast had been included in the price of the room.... More

Just returned from being the best man at a friend's wedding. The venue is fabulous with breathtaking views of English countryside and beautiful rooms. We saw 3 woodpeckers, falcons, kites and pheasants. What a location! The staff are great especially Keri who exceeded our expectations. We were left feeling like celebrities with the wedding breakfast room being decorated to a... More

My wife and I were guests at a 50th birthday party in the hotel. We live nearby and always thought the hotel was strictly affiliated to the Golf Club and one had to be a member to visit it. Not being golf people we have ignored it for years. Imagine our surprise when we discovered we could have Sunday lunch... More
