Stayed for three nights at the end of September – very nice location on the outskirts of Oxford (around 20 minutes drive to the centre, although Park and Ride is easier at busier times). Hotel is nice, but very much an add-on to the Golf Course. Do try to get a room with a nice view as many seemed to... More

Booked a one night stay with friends that included two rounds of golf.We were all impressed with our rooms the food and the staff. The golf course was presented in immaculate condition and was a joy to play, I would recommend The Oxfordshire to anyone who enjoys comfortable rooms, good food, friendly helpful staff and a superb golf course.

We stayed here for one night for a Golfbreak with 2 rounds of golf. The weather was attrocious (gale and rain on the first day and very windy on the second day). We had a good, spacious room with a very good bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We could change our tee-times on arrival and they did their best... More

I had booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights as I was attending a wedding nearby in Long Crendon. I had booked this hotel through a very well known online booking (com) company and was quoted a total stay of £224 We checked in late at night into room 309, admittedly the room is quite nice, and the... Lovely old fashioned hotel with a little bit of modern about it, ideal for golfers and very much surrounded with golfing boys! Nice modern rooms with upper class surroundings. I would defiantly stay here again, price side is a little to dear.

My wife and I stayed with a mixed group of golfers. We had booked an "Executive Room". The room we were allocated had no bath although the hotel website made a point of stating all of these rooms had separate bath and shower cubicles. It was in fact a disabled room but this wasn't pointed out at check-in. As the... More

Boys weekend golfing to celebrate a birthday. I went with pretty high hopes given past reviews and a friend who had been previously. Got to be honest it achieved my hopes and some more. The rooms are immaculate, truly immaculate. Really well cleaned with everything you need for a 1 night stay. Shower was nice and powerful. The evening meal... More

Visited the hotel for a short break for a 40th birthday celebration. The hotel serves as part of a golf club so it had an interesting atmosphere. A mix of golfers and standard guests. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good including evening meal and breakfast with spectacular views of the Oxfordshire countryside and skyline.... More

My mum and I visited The Oxfordshire as part of a spa day package (although I have been previously and stayed at the hotel, which is very nice). The spa area itself is pretty small, but had all you need for an afternoon of relaxation - steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi, gym. The treatment rooms are lovely and all the... More
