Went for Sunday lunch with my husband. It was lovely and would 100% return. I noticed the one awful review on here, which is completely uncalled for - ignore it! Food was fantastic - we both had roast beef and it was cooked to perfection. It was £19 a head but you get what you pay for. It was worth... More

A repeat visit to The Kingham Plough. Lovely friendly country pub welcome. A superb lunch, exquisitely cooked by talented chefs. The bill offered great value too. A perfect way to treat mum. Thank you :-)

Had a gorgeous burger lunch with my son today. The burgers were cooked as requested (medium and medium/rare) and our deserts (doughnuts and baked alaska) rounded off the meal nicely. Praise be that Emily has both remembered and retained cooking basics whilst presenting her food in a realy attractive and apertising way. Thanks for such a lovely dining experience.

Ate here last evening . Great service , waitress very helpful and able to answer all questions/ queries. An excellent meal .Pigeon wellington was wonderful . Hanger steak steak, great. One point - less lighting would create a more relaxing atmosphere!

We have just returned from staying at the kingham plough for one night for a family reunion, and to say I am dissapointed is sad!! On arriving, no body actually made us feel really welcome, and all the rest of the family said the same, The rooms are nice, no magnifying make up mirror though, so I could not put... More

We visited the Kingham Plough for lunch whilst staying in that area of the Cotswolds and chose it due to the good reviews on tripadvisor. The overall experience of our visit was very good, with attentive staff and good quality food. It seemed more suited for families on a Saturday lunchtime which you would expect, so would recommend an evening... More

We had a lovely walk to the Plough and worked up quite an appetite. We spent a leisurely afternoon here and weren't rushed, which is nice. We all enjoyed our meals but the bill came as a bit of a shock. My husband wants the egg recipe that he had as a starter!

The food was great and all home made and organic, which I think is a factor the restaurant could make more of. The chef is clearly very talented! Even the oatcakes which accompanied the lovely cheese selection were warm and home made, delicious! Wine list was comprehensive, and well priced. We preferred to sit in the bar as cosy fire... More

This was our second visit to the delightful Kingham Plough and we were not disappointed. The room was comfortable with a huge bed and powerful shower, dog friendly too. We had dinner in the bar on arrival and had two delicious burgers, a clementine desert and a selection of ice creams - all delicious. Breakfast was fabulous, we preordered eggs... More

During our weekend break to the Cotswolds we made 3 mistakes; the first being cancelling our reservation at The Chequers Bar & Restaurant in favour of a eatery that was within walking distance of our accommodation. The second mistake was booking a table at The Kingham Plough! The third was walking out of there without visiting the kitchen and stuffing... More
