We stayed at the B&B for one night when we were hiking in Oxfordshire and it was absolutely lovely. Gwyn and Mike were super nice and welcoming, our room was great with its own bath and everything was very clean and tidy. You can easily walk to the local pub (Wild Rabbit) and a restaurant (Kingham Plough) and there is... More

Lovely place, Gwyne was lovely, the dog Kendra was a delight and very friendly, and they gave us great advice about how to bypass traffic around Birmingham. Breakfast was great and the shower in our room was a special feature, shooting water at us from four different directions. Most people in the Cotswolds were seriously stuck up but not these... More

Down for the week for the Cheltenham Festival with a racing friend, the Moat End is ideally situated. Comfortable well appointed rooms, close to all the usual hostelries, magnificent breakfast, and two of the nicest hosts you could possibly meet. On our last day to the races my friend suffered a tyre puncture which could have taken the edge off the... More

The hosts were lovely and the room was clean. Fresh milk morning and night for drinks was very welcome as was the welcome drink on our arrival. The shower in the room did not work and though we were told to pop and let them know when we wanted a shower and they could do something, we did not want... More

We recently stayed one night at Moat End and would thoroughly recommend this B&B. Our hosts could not do enough for us: phoning around to help us find somewhere to eat in the evening - and coming to our aid with a quickly whipped up omelette (delicious!) when we couldn't get a reservation (although they don't normally do evening meals!).... Just back from a two night stay in this excellent b and b very close to the various gastronomic delights of Kingham (Kingham Plough, Wild Rabbit, Mill etc) which are in 10 mins walking distance. Breakfasts are very good using local ingredients and it was great to be there at a time of sunny weather and to enjoy a cup... More

After reading all the reviews on Trip Advisor, we thought we had gone to a different B@B. We were told we had arrived too early all though told on the phone 2-00 pm was ok. The room had 2 Single beds which we knew about, but was surprised to find them so far apart down a narrow bedroom. There was... More

Thank you for taking time to write a review. I am sorry that you did not understand the room layout which was explained at the time of booking as were arrival times also. We are a Bed and Breakfast establishment but I invited you to come back at any time and use the guest lounge during the day if you... More

We were just using it as a bed for the night whilst we visited the Wild Rabbit. Room clean and well lit with views over the gardens. Filled out forms for breakfast and thought the idea of a jug of fresh milk delivered last thing for a cup of tea was a nice touch - except it didn't materialise. Small... More

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in March and enjoyed it very much. Mike and Gwyn were very welcoming, always on hand with advice, chat and milk for tea, making our stay relaxed and comfortable.
