My wife and I arrived at the Lamb Inn on the evening of Saturday 6th February we had booked a table arrived and were greeted and seated we did not stay at the hotel part. We chose a bottle of Rose at £21 which was quite good and settled down to order from the menu and specials board which in... More

Had a delicious dinner - beetroot tart tatin was fantastic, generous portion of slow roasted belly pork for one of us, and cauliflower fritters then partridge for the other, followed by a large and rich chocolate pot with orange. Not cheap, but certainly value for your money. Spent the night in room 1 - good size, very clean. Also very... More

We have been to the Lamb 3 times now for Sunday Lunch. The first time we had the lamb and it was very good. The next time I tried the wild mushroom risotto , poor, the mushrooms had no flavour very boring. The third time I had the loin of pork, very poor, tough, crackling soggy, and the vegetables arrived... More

From looking at the website and booking to our leaving was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was delightful with everything one would need and more. Our meal was fantastic as was our breakfast. I couldn't recommend it more, the best place to stay and eat especially if you are waking the Thames Path far better than anything... More

A warm welcome greeted us on arrival. Our room (number 3) was cosy and attractive with lots of nice thoughtful touches! Though small, it was very comfortable. Shelley and Richard are delightful! The Lamb was buzzing and vibrant due to the rugby and a delicious chilli which was served in the bar. We dined in the restaurant enjoying Thai mussels,... More

We stayed here while walking the Thames Path. Of the 8 places we stayed this was our favourite and well worth the diversion from our route. It was also the cheapest . We received a very warm and friendly welcome and found the room spacious and attractive. All the amenities you would expect from a more expensive hotel were included... More

I've dined at The Lamb several times in the last two years and my impression was that this is one of the best pub/restaurants in the area. We booked in for supper recently on a hot Friday night. My husband was concerned when he phoned and made the booking because the person answering the phone did not seem to understand... More

I've rarely felt so relaxed at a hotel or B&b. Very good food and drink, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. The owners are friendly as quite laid back - or seem so. The food is obviously from very good sources. I'm looking for a reason to go back soon.

We visited with some friends for Steak night (Wednesday) we all had sirloin steaks that were excellent a bottle of red and white whine salad and proper chips all for £60.00 an absolute bargain in our opinion.
