Booked 2 rooms here to break up our journey to the South Coast. This is the third time I have stayed here and it has become progressively worse. The bed in our room was disgusting - the mattress so worn and dipped in the middle that it was impossible to sleep. The one pillow per person was so flat as... More

Stayed at this Travel Lodge after a fab trip to London. I wished we have driven straight home to Saddleworth. The beds were terrible. The doubled bed dipped in the middle and my daughter and I kept rolling into the middle. The sofa bed had springs sticking through and there were no mattress protectors. When I enquired about the protectors... More

Not up to standard, needs updating, only 1 plastic chair , no where comfortable to sit. Very disappointed. Had to ask for extra pillows, not even a mattress protector on the bed! Corridors looked like they need repainting, generally felt uncared for.

We arrived at midnight and were warmly greeted by the member of staff on duty. My request for extra milk and tea bags was no problem and they were promptly supplied. Although showing signs of being well used our room and bathroom were both clean and tidy. We walked across to Greggs for the breakfast deal of a bacon butty... More

So. We checked in about 3pm to find our family room was missing two beds for the children and only had one pillow on the double bed. We couldn't have a drink because there weren't any mugs. Four trips to reception later we still didn't have any beds or bedding, or an apology. We left at 6 to meet friends.... More

Stayed here with my mother and we both had little sleep and were stiff and in pain each morning due to uncomfortable bed. The mattress felt like it had a thin layer of material between me and the metal springs ...only one pillow each although we got another when we asked at reception. I cant complain about staff as they... More

The whole place was dirty, by far the worst dive I've ever stayed in. The bath was dirty, the bed was soiled, the place smelt, the tv remote was missing, the bed springs were poking through. Things started off badly when I discovered my booking was for a different date, I'd filled in dates for the 5th of April, then... More

Arrived at hotel late at night due to bad traffic. Was told by scruffy receptionist wearing a tracksuit!!!! That couldn't have a room that had been booked and paid for before arriving. Nothing stating on booking that no admittance after 11pm and had spent previous 4 nights in Travelodge in Cumbria which I'd like to add, I had arrived late... More

A typical service station Travelodge. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was. Reception satisfactory but not as welcoming as some hotels. Big problem was the room temperature. Apparently the cleaners turn on the heat in the morning so by 7 when we arrived it was very hot so we had to open the windows all night eve... More

The receptionist was reading a book when we arrived, she was rude and in a bad manner. I asked for a travel cot which I couldn't order one online, she said she would bring one to us but forgot, kept us waiting for more than half an hour. I later asked for a missing chair in the room as well... More
