My sisters and I stayed at Abbey Guest House for 2 nights while on holiday in the UK. From the second we arrived Terry made us feel like we were in our own home. We booked for 3 people on the first night and 4 on the second and Terry made an extra effort to move us around on both... More

I stayed for 2 nights in mid July with my 2 sisters and brother in law whilst travelling around England on holiday from Australia. We had a very bad experience at a hotel in London and when booking our accommodation for our impending stay in Oxford were sure to look up and read reviews plus head to the B &... More

We have booked one night stay during our weekend holidays with children following excellent reviews on websites and wanting to ensure easy and relaxing family time at clean and friendly quest house. When we arrived in the evening of very hot day we were taken to a good size clean and sunny room with all its windows closed - so... More

First of all I must apologise that you have felt this way – despite your parting shot about when I would reply, I feel that I must respond. It is clear that my mistake is that I did not realise that your understanding of spoken English was so poor. In hindsight, bearing in mind your lack of response to my... More

When you travel a great deal and spend a lot of time in hotels, to find accommodation that is clean, comfortable and welcoming is a real find. Having stayed at this B&B on more than one occasion the quality has never dipped. The comfort of a clean room with excellent facilities and guidance on how to use things is one... More

One of the funniest places we have stayed at. Decor as in the website, in fact it is all as the website, nice decor very clean, tea or coffee with a friendly chat on arrival, good breakfast which will see anyone through till lunchtime. It is on a main road which is noisy at the front even with closed windows. Front... More

After a lot of thought I have decided to respond to this rather strange review. It is interesting to see that we have been rated a ‘3’ even though we were so terrible and also amusing; but it is very sad to read such unbelievably mis-leading comments. It is purely for this reason that this response has been written to... More

Needed accommodation for one night on business and had a very pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable room. The host, Terry, was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was superb to top it all off. Highly recommended - would stay again.

you could not ask for a more perfect place to stay, Terri is an excellent host and goes out her way to ensure your visit to her home/B&B is a pleasant one. With the bus stops just outside this property will give you easy excess to Oxford, costing only £4.50 return and two pubs within walking distance, I would highly... More

I booked the disabled room 1 on the ground floor. It was perfect for me. Terry was very welcoming and sat down with me and my two daughters for a pot of coffee and a chat on my arrival. She showed me every aspect of the room. The adjustable bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. Terry couldn't... More

What was meant to be an affordable nights stay turned out to be a luxury treat. Terri is the perfect host, with a friendliness and hospitality that can only be described as a joy to receive. The house is warm and inviting, absolutely immaculate and has a full roster of facilities including the much appreciated Egyptian cotton sheets, what a... More

I booked myself and my husband into the Guest House as a surprise weekend away for my husband's 60th birthday; as I have a muscle wasting illness and cannot manage the stairs, I booked the downstairs adapted room. I was pleasantly surprised when entering the room to discover the beds were adjustable, which for me was very helpful. The bathroom... More
