Family room booked for 4 guests (2 adult/2 children). Super layout with single pull out bed either side of the main bed. Everything you would expect in a hotel room but no air con so room was very stuffy. Opening a window wasn't an option unless you wanted to listen to the motorway traffic which seemed to be continuous. Noise... More

2 night say and couldn't really fault it. Although not the worlds No1 TL fan the rooms looked newly refurbished and very clean. Reception staff very friendly which makes a change. Only negative as rooms super warm and super noisy outside so once you open a window you can't sleep. I would recommend providing fans.

Nice to see an refurbished room (very hot though!) but a massive space on one side of the bed contrasted with a narrow gap on the other! Staff were very pleasant but don't expect them to be there on arrival as they seem to have other jobs in the hotel, keeping them away from the desk. Rooms at the back... More

Booked into here for 1 nt on our way to a Cruise, Hotel was clean, Staff were very helpful, must mention the Ladies on Reception who were very Pleasant and helpful and went out of the way to make you welcome and help with anything required, also the Room Staff who were also very diligent in the way they kept... Without a doubt the best thing about our visit was the staff. When we checked in Liz was very warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond what was expected of her. She made sure that we were comfortable with our rooms and asked us if we required anything else. She even booked a taxi for us to go to... More

Can't fall off. Room cost £20.00 due to a special offer. And at that price it was excellent value. Clean modern room. Reception staff were polite. Was a warm evening and were offered a fan which did make it a bit more comfortable. There is a little shop at petrol station, little chef and McDonald's. It does what it says... More

Easy to find hotel. Don't follow the sat nav once you turn off the A1. Instead follow the directions given on the Travelodge website. These are clear and make it clear that the sat nav takes you down the road. Hotel recently redecorated and therefore it is not as worn out as some Travelodge's. No lift so if you don't... More

For a budget hotel this was fine and everything was as expected. Room was clean, staff polite and bed comfortable. Useful location being at service station off the a1. I will probably stay here again, although at 45 per night the one 30 miles up road in Doncaster was much cheaper at 26/night.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel every week night for the last 12 months. We always found the staff very friendly, extremely helpful and yet professional. There is traffic noise in the bedroom if you open the windows but given the location this isnt surprising but the windows are all double glazed and do a good job... More

Tuxford Travelodge. booked there as my normal place was full. A summers day, room was like an oven all night did not sleep at all. For the price I would have expected free Wi Fi (even my local pub offers this!) Breakfast not included, alternatives buy a "Breakfast box" I had been forewarned about them, so gave it a miss! Or...
