We stayed in the Oakridge Lodge with some friends from Monday till Friday. Be prepared that you can't check in till 4 on the Monday and then you have to check out 10 on the Friday (not ideal if you have a family) plus you have lost two days really. On arrival they said I needed to pay a £50... More

We stayed here for a week this month. The lodge we were in was supposed to be for 6 people and a dog. Although it had enough bedrooms for 6 people it did not have enough space, the living room and sofas were tiny - just about fit the 4 of us and the floor space didn't leave much room... More

This review is about the restaurant, not the hotel side. Have been regularly for lunch but this time it was amazing. Mothers 81st birthday was made really special. They had decorated the table with little hearts and flowers. Bubbles poured on arrival and the best treat for Mum - Lobster thermidor instead of what she ordered. The chef cooked it... More

We were meant to have a hotel room but got moved to the studio in the converted stable block (i think). The room was very spacious, clean and contemporary with complimentary tea and coffee. It had French doors that opened up to a grassed area which was lovely (probably would jot be so great when caravans are hooked up opposite)... More

We go away once a year with friends and always book a lodge that sleeps 3 couples and have never been disappointed with what we've booked. There were several upsides and downsides to this lodge, we stayed in the Moshannan Lodge and although from first appearances it looked lovely, it was a little on the small side. The bedrooms were... Looking for overnight accommodation I came across this hotel. Glad I decided to book. Huge room with a pleasant view over the countryside. Friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant as it's out on it's own a bit but food was hot, tasty and reasonably priced. £10 to put a camping bed in the room didn't take up too much... More

I stayed in the Lakeview Lodge over Easter weekend with my Husband and another couple. We were greeted by the most friendliest staff at reception. We arrived several hours early before check in and we were able to leave our luggage at reception whilst we went out to do some food shopping in Mansfield which is about a ten min... More
