Thank you to you all for a lovely Mothers Day Lunch. Very memorable lunch will be back. Hot plates perfectly cooked food. Best crumble in a long time- so nice to have homemade food. Brilliant and friendly staff topped it off making the whole experience an enjoyment. Thank you.

The new chef Jon hasn't been there long but has made a real impact already. I went for Sunday lunch the other day and it was really really good. All the menus are changing and the Christmas menus look excellent and good value too! Looking forward to the Halloween menu next week.

I came here with my girlfriend, Mum and uncle for the night. We checked in early, around 11ish. We asked for an early check in as we were going to a wedding anniversary for around 12. All the staff there are very welcoming there. The pub itself feels old, I think its first licence was around 1788. So it has... More

In order to break off a journey from North to The Midlands, we decided that a overnigh night stay in a country pub with food would fit the bill. The food was absolutely outstanding, both my wife and me commenting that this was the best filet steak (for me) and Risotto (for her) that we had ever tasted. Beautiful wine... More

Just had Sunday lunch here. The food was tasty and well presented. Service was good and we felt very welcome. The Pub/Restaurant was lovely oldie world, warm and welcoming and couldn't have been better. There is a good selection of ales and wine to complement your meal. We are happy with the price, in fact, happy with everything and can... More

We were staying here on business but the trip couldn't have been more pleasant. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the beer was great, and our breakfast the next morning was really exceptional.

Just had a very good Sunday lunch - roast beef just as I like it, nice and pink and sticky toffee pudding. My wife enjoyed her roast pork and syrup sponge. Good value and great service from friendly and efficient staff. Certainly going back!

Inn has beautiful flower displays on all the windows around the front and towards the back, really pretty to look at. Kerry was very welcoming, he took us to our room (watch your head some of the ceilings and doorways are low!). Rm 1 was the family room at the front, opposite the village hall. It had been roasting hot... More

An extremely welcoming Inn, a great bar area, very relexed and busy with locals and visiters enjoying pre-dinner drinks. The restuarant is well set out on 2 levels, the menu board offered a good choice of meals, we all enjoyed a hearty early evening meal, can recommend the steaks, delicious and beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly and efficient and... More
