If you are visiting the area the id 100% reccomend this place. Stayed here last week for the 4th time. Great staff, nice rooms, lovely breakfast and good price. I particularly like the maid Marion suit, it overlooks the village and has the best facilities

I have stayed here twice, for the price, you do get a nice stay. The first time we stayed, we were given a dusty mouldy room (room 9 i believe). we were advised that as the bathroom has limited ventilation the mould is impossible to avoid. Luckily, we were given a different room on the top floor. this room was... More

We booked to stay at the Dukeries Lodge as we were visiting family at Center Parcs. This was supposed to be a pre Christmas treat, but turned out to be a complete nightmare. We arrived late at night after spending a lovely day in Center Parcs, but we had to walk through the bar area to get to reception which... More

Perfect place to stay if going to a venue at South Forest as only 5 minutes walk away. Busy restaurant but table found and served quickly, not the best nights sleep as Room 10 next door stayed up talking and laughing plus the noisy plumbing system! On the plus side we found the staff welcoming and friendly and the breakfast... More

We stayed here as friends at Center Parcs (just 5 mins' drive away) were having a birthday celebration. The reception is in the middle of the pub itself and when one arrives, one becomes something to look at as you drag your luggage through the building. The attention at the reception was not particularly efficient or friendly. The room we... More

Friendly welcome and shown to room, unfortunately first room had plumbing issue but offered an alternative larger room on next floor. Comfortable but in need of a facelift. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Room Clean with good quality bedding and comfy bed. Another chair would have been nice.

Had a lovely welcome but unfortunately we were not impressed, the room was very dark and depressing, not very clean (except for bedding and towels), very small room and bed even though we did request a large double when we booked, bathroom tiny and not very clean, very noisy plumbing throughout the whole stay, we could hear a lot of...
