We enjoyed a wonderful week staying at Fenton Hill cottages. The cottage was spacious (except for the kitchen which was adequate ), clean and cosy. We were 2 couples one with a baby and one with a 6 year old and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed use of the garden for BBQs and outside dining on the large... More

We just spent a few days at Fenton Hill Farm Cottages with our three-year-old and seven-month-old. The cottage had everything we needed, and was very clean and convenient, and there was a fantastic garden area with toys for children to run around in. Great location for getting to Lindisfarne and the coast, as well as the Northumberland National Park and... More

We had a wonderful weeks stay in Rosehip cottage. It is a great base for fun days out. We loved having a real fire, even though it was summer!! The children enjoyed feeding the animals and playing in the fab garden every day. The cottage was a good size and very well equipped. We will definitely be back.

Accommodation was lovely, a real home from home. Our little boy loved the animals. Such a quiet, peaceful location and excellent for children. Owners were lovely and made use feel welcome. Would definitely recommend this place

We had a warm welcome at Crab Apple cottage from Val, who also entertained our kids one morning letting them feed the goats, pigs, and chickens (we also got a couple of fresh eggs for breakfast). The cottage was clean and tidy and fully equipped with whatever we needed. Lovely views surrounding the farm, and the kids also enjoyed playing... More

We came across Fenton Hill Cottages on the net, not sure if it would be all be all that we wanted it to be- It did not disappoint! What a wee gem of a place, set in the middle of the countryside with spectacular views all around. We had a great week, exploring the local area, eating in the many... More

We spent four nights in Rosehip cottage in October and had a very enjoyable stay. Cottage was well equipped, clean, comfortable and warm - and was everything we needed for a relaxing break in beautiful countryside. The location was great for visiting a number of interesting places nearby and cottage owners were welcoming and helpful. Lots of lovely walks in... More

Cottage was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Excellent facilities and location. Superb Birthday meal provided by Jenny in her Conservatory next door. Ideal situation for meeting up with other friends and relations staying in other farm cottages.Nothing too much trouble for Margaret and Hugh. Rerturn each year since 2007. Will be going back next year for sure.

We spent a week in one of the cottages and found that they had everything that we wanted. The owners Hugh and Margaret are warm and friendly and the views from the cottages are superb. I would definitely recommend the Fenton Hill Farm Cottages to anyone.

We spent a week at Fenton Hill Farm during the school holidays with our two young sons, aged five and two. We chose it because we wanted a total break from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and we certainly got that! The location is beautiful and very remote...it was fifteen minutes to the nearest pub, cash... More
