The cottage is well fitted out with all mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, has ample parking for 2 cars. We had a lovely weeks holiday in Rosehip cottage in June. The weather was hot and sunny and we spent two afternoons having afternoon tea in a lovely garden in Etal. The cottage has everything you need including a lovely open fire to toast your toes on chilly nights. We cannot wait to return in the autumn.

Thank you for your kind review and for telling potential guests of something you enjoyed nearby. There is so much to do in the area, these little special things can be very memorable for our guests. The open fires are very welcoming out of season, which we aim to light for guests arriving on very cold days. They are lovely... More

We stayed here in 2013 and 2014, and have to say it's one of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Everything is clean and furnished to a high standard - very comfortable, with everything you'd want to make your stay easy and pleasant. It's great for families (are kids are preschool age) as there's a HUGE expanse of grass,... More

on the recommendation of a friend in 2002 we booked a holiday at Fenton Hill farm - staying in Rosehip cottage. 12 years later we have returned 9 more times staying in 4 out of the 5 cottages. What more recommendation is needed than that! They are perfect cottages in an idyllic setting between the beautiful North Cheviot hills and the... More

We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage. Accommodation was everything we needed and the access to the garden allowed the kids to play outdoors all day whilst we relaxed on the patio. Plenty to do nearby, Holy Island, Bamburgh and Seahouses. Great way to spend a family holiday.

We spent an idyllic week here with our two boys. Just returned & had to post a review. The cottage had everything (and more) that we needed. The setting was spectacular, looking otu on the fields of crops and birds coming and going constantly. As a keen home cook, it had the best stocked kitchen for utensils etc that we've... More

14 of us stayed in three of the cottages and had a great time. Cottages are very comfortable and well-equipped - much better than most I've stayed at. Being able to accommodate all of us at the dining table in Honeysuckle was a real bonus. Lovely setting with interesting walks from the door and great views over the Cheviots. Would... More

Cant really add much to the other reviews really ... Stayed in Crab Apple Cottage for 3 nights with my husband, step daughter and grand children aged 18 months and 3 years. In the middle of nowhere with a short drive to the local pub one way and Wooler with its farm shop the other way. Most areas of Northumberland... More
