Like the other reviewers we cannot praise Bob and Ginny enough for their warmth of welcome, and the quality of the accommodation, their garden and the breakfast. They are genuinely friendly and willing to do anything they can to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. If six stars could be awarded. they would be!

Stayed with my wife and two friends whilst walking St Cuthberts Way. We 2 made very welcome and enjoyed freshly baked scones and tea served in the beautiful garden. Rooms tastefully decorated with many nice extras. Outstandingly good breakfast with wide breakfast choice. Highly recommended

We have stayed here twice and each time were delighted by the experience.Always a very warm welcome by Ginny and Bob in their wonderful conservatory where we were made to feel very much at home - nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us a really first class breakfast and we also appreciated the tasty extras in the... More

From the welcome by Bob with tea and warm scones to the wonderful breakfast the following morning cooked up by Bob and Ginny this B&B is unbeatable. A lovely house, convivial hosts, peaceful setting, lots of lovely touches and the biggest breakfast choice I've ever seen in a B&B.To a footsore walker this was as good as it gets. Bob will... More

This was our second visit to Millyard House - our first being in 2012. The B&B offers great service, great value for money and a great breakfast. The high standards set then have been maintained: the friendly welcome with tea and fresh scones; the hearty breakfast that will fill you up for the day; the advice on local attractions; weather... From the first moment we arrived, Ginny was so warm and welcoming! Best eggs Benedict I've ever had and Bob cooks an unbeatable full English! It's hospitality at its finest and I couldn't rate Millyard House highly enough! Stunning house, stunning surroundings, stunning B&B, thank you for such a lovely time! Will definitely come back one day!

We stayed a couple of nights whilst we toured the area, and whilst the room was pleasant and clean, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly, it wasn't 100% ideal. Unfortunately, as a Coeliac, I have very specific dietary parameters, and always inform wherever we are staying of my condition, just in case they aren't able to cater and if... More

The research suggested has of course been carried out as we have had many coeliac guests before. None of the research and none of the previous guests gave asked for a full and parallel replacement of our extensive choice of foods and snacks, and it would not be financially viable to offer it. This guests has given us our worst... More

My wife and I stayed at Millyard House for one night after attending a wedding in College Valley. Bob and Ginny were very welcoming and went out of their way to allow us an earlier check in time and the warm scones on arrival were a lovely surprise! The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely outlook onto the... More

This is an absolutely lovely b.and b. Bob and Ginny gave us a warm welcome after our ten hour walk on the St. Cuthbert's Way, and seemed to have thought of everything a weary walker could possibly need: running a hot bath for us, tea and home-made scones and jam, booking an evening meal for us, a comfortable, soothing bed,...
