Thank you Ginny and Bob for our recent stay. As we said to you in person, your enthusiasm shows everywhere at Millyard House - in the wonderful breakfasts and in your genuine and warm welcome and care. Thank you again for our wonderful stay last week.

From start to finish Bob and Ginny made us very much part of the household. We arrived (a little late) to find Bob outside having been on the phone guiding us in. There was tea and scones and a lovely chat, then a quick show around the room (sherry and all!!). Breakfast the next morning was perfect, and we were... More

Bob and Ginny made us very welcome with a freshly-baked scone and cup of tea. The room was great, with a range of teas and quality toiletries. The breakfast was also excellent. Then we were offered a flask of hot chocolate for our walk. All in all, this was the best hospitality we have ever experienced in a Bed and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2014 and from the point of booking, through to our day of departure, Bob and Ginny were fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful home and are happy to share this with their guests. Standards, from the quality of the room, bathroom fittings etc through to the wonderful breakfasts are very high and... We were warmly welcomed on the first weekend of October by Bob and Ginny with a lovely pot of tea and home-made scones, which was delightful after a long journey from South Croydon!! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and Bob and Ginny were so friendly and aiming to please, the breakfasts were to die for !!! Highly... More

Had three days stay at Millyard again 2nd until the 5th October. As usual fine food and good company from start to finish and shared our breakfast with a couple from Croydon who were taking part in the Wooler Wheel so breakfasts went on a bit longer than usual. Tried eggs three different ways and each were perfect even down... More

About 2 months ago we stayed in Millyard House and we are still reminiscing about our holiday in Wooler. We had a beautifully decorated and furnished room . Breakfast itself was yummy and enjoyable and was served on a common table , but if desired arrangements could be made for a separate table. Although Wooler itself has not much to... More

To say that visiting Bob and Ginny at Millyard House is 'like' staying with old friends would be true but it would be more accurate to say that it simply is 'staying with old friends'. We have enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the interesting conversations and the legendary breakfasts on many occasions and we will definitely be back.

What an amazing warm welcome with freshly baked Scones and tea after an arduous wet and long walk. A beautiful room, superb breakfast, and lovely people not to forget they happily cater for vegetarians, Could go on with superlatives, but if you are ever in the vicinity, don't miss the chance to stay there.
