I stayed here one night on a cycling tour. Locked garage was provided for bikes. Bedroom and ensuite were spotless, bed was really comfy. Bob and Ginny were most welcoming, friendly, and interesting to talk to. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and it was like sitting in a magazine photo-shoot (in a good way). The breakfast was lovely: lots... More

Working at The Glendale Show this August Bank Holiday we stayed again at Millyard House, and as in past years it was a pleasure to arrive and be greeted with the warmest of welcomes from owners Bob and Jinny. It is a home from home and every aspect of Millyard House is to be recommended, from its location, pretty cottage... More

Once in a while you come across a B&B that sets the bar just that bit higher, that manages to achieve the perfect marriage of comfort, quality and relaxed hospitality, and make it seem effortless. Millyard House is one such place. We arrived after a reasonably strenuous tramp across the Cheviots from Yetholm. Bob and Ginny immediately made us feel... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Millyard House for 2 nights. Bob and Ginny were the perfect hosts. They are so friendly and kind and would go the extra mile to help with anything. We were walking the St Cuthbert's Way and Bob offered to drive us from Wooler to Fenwick and back again. When we arrived after a long... More

We stayed at Millyard House in early June and loved our stay, Bob and Ginny were very welcoming and really did go the extra mile to ensure that everything was above and beyond. The chocolates and milk for tea upon our return in the early hours was very much appreciated! Their garden is beautiful, the house very homely and comfortable.... More

This small B+B is only 100 yards off St Cuthbert's Way as it passes through Wooler so is perfect for walkers doing that route. Owners Bob and Ginny have created a real haven for travellers, and we felt completely welcome from first stepping into their beautiful cottage garden. They take a genuine interest in their visitors and offer all creature... More

Bob and Ginny have absolutely mastered the art of B & B by providing quite the most genuinely friendly, welcoming and comfortable stay in our beloved Wooler. Excellent, quality and choice of breakfasts, lovely beds, wonderful complimentary chocolates and sherry in our room and even the most thoughtful, personalised receipt we have ever seen! A lovely couple who we felt... More

We stayed here whilst walking St. Cuthbert's Way and were warmly welcomed from the moment we came through the garden gate. Bob and Ginny could not have been more hospitable and our room was beautifully clean and well-equipped. This house feels like a peaceful haven and I wish we could have stayed longer. And the breakfast was great too!

We stayed at Millyard House while attending a wedding in the College Valley. Bob and Ginny made us feel very welcome, wth warm scones, tea and interesting conversation after we settled in. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the house has a lovely cottagey feel. Bob gave us accurate directions to the College Valley. After a late return... More

We stayed with Bob & Ginny for our penultimate night of our St Cuthbert's Way walking holiday, and it was easily the nicest night's stay of the trip. From the initial "welcome" to leaving the next morning the attention to detail should be a lesson to all B&B owners. A great night's sleep and an even better breakfast. Our pack... More
