We stayed in a "so called" double room which was obviously originally a single. Not a chair in sight and not enough room to "swing a cat". Just returned from 2 night stay at Beach House Hotel. Situation is excellent right on the front about 5/10 minute walk to centre of Seahouses. What a brilliant hotel, we went with a party of 16 people including 3 children, and they couldn't do enough for us. On arrival warmly welcomed by the owners Malcolm and Hazel Brown. Stayed in a seaview room overlooking the Farne Islands. Georgeous! We decided to visit Northumberland as we had seen rave reviews about Bamburgh Castle. The hotel website offers a double/twin room which says it is a king size bed which splits into two singles (sheer comfort springs to mind) sea views with views of the islands and BAMBURGH CASTLE!
