We looked forward to our second visit and were not disappointed, once again we were made welcome, room 3 is lovely with a wonderful view, breakfast lovely and plentiful, we did not need to worry about where to go for lunch as we did not need any. The honesty bar is very welcome at the end of the day. We... More

This is my third visit to this hotel as the standard of the rooms and breakfasts are amazing. I have stayed in the Honeysuckle, Iris and Asian rooms all of which were of a high standard. The lounge with bar has wonderful views of the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle. There are many places to eat in Seahouses which are... More

This hotel had such good reviews that I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed...I wasn't!!The location was great - fabulous views out to the Farne islands and across to bamburgh castle and even Lindisfarne castle on a clear day.Beach/rock pools just across the road, although we walked a little further down for the sand.... We booked in for a single night bed and breakfast just as a taster to see if we liked it. We were not disappointed. The room was lovely with great views of the harbour in Seahouses and also over to the Farne Islands. The room was comfortable with a great selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc as well as... Thank you so much for your kindness on saturday when my husband was taken ill on the bench opposite your hotel. Your care and concern and practical assistance made a scary situation much easier than it might have been. My husband is much improved so once again many thanks.

We were out for the day in Bamburgh and decided to stop the night nearby. A quick interweb search brought us to St Aidan hotel. We had a standard room which had everything we needed and there was no extra charge for our dog. The hotel is about a hundred yards out of Seahouses with a good footpath and a... More

We are staying two nights in the taste of Africa room. We cannot praise this hotel enough. Just wonderful to arrive to chocolates in your room. The bedding is gorgeous and bed very, very comfortable. Fantastic too to have lovely cookies AND lots of sachets of coffee. Too many hotels are too stingy in this regard. Breakfast is fantastic. I... More

everything else was superb, exceeding expectations in all areas, particularly the breakfast. Have already recommended St Aidans to friends and will keep on as this is a little jewel, can't speak highly enough of it!

Great location right on the front with super views out to sea and only a stone throw from the town centre and the harbour. The breakfast was excellent, with the choice of fruits outstanding. A little disappointed with the 'Flavour of Morocco' room which was in the eaves. The room was clean with lots of little 'extras' not always found... More
