We'd booked a nights stay at the Links but got the dates mixed up so when we arrived there was no room for us. Even though we would have been willing to pay again & there was a vacancies sign in the window we were told that all the rooms were booked. The owner hardly acknowleged us but did ask... more

We arrived in Seahouses with nothing booked, and this was the last place to stay. First off, it was difficult to find if they had any rooms available, and car parking was difficult, with lots of conflicting advice over whether we could park in the pub car park next door. The room was very basic and did not seem to... more

We dined in the Links restaurant for the first time. Although living here on and off, for many years, we were very happy with other excellent restaurants which have now closed. But the meal we had at the Links was as good as any we had any where else. We'd been warned about inconsistant customer service, but it was excellent,... more

Stayed at the Links Hotel for one night only with a couple of mates on a golfing trip in mid-October. Rooms a bit basic but comfortable enough for the price although beware a room over the bar on a Friday night as was a little noisy (or was it 'atmospheric', maybe I turned in too early!) The staff were warm... more

Arriving at the Links hotel we were Greeted by a sign telling us to go to the bar to check in, Fair enough but then the senior staff member just asked for our name and sent a teenage waitress to show us to the room ( she had never even been to that part of the hotel she told us!)... more

We stayed for 3 nights and being peak holiday time the hotel was very busy but the staff were excellent and maintained there warm friendliness throughout our stay - (which one would expect in this part of the country) nothing was too much trouble The room was a good size and clean - the only down side was that we... more

The hotel is well situated about a 2 minute walk from the village centre. The hotel is very clean and there is a large bar area serving meals as well as a restraunt. The food is excellent and the menu varied. The food is the best thing about the hotel and I would recommend you try it. The room we... more

Stayed at the links hotel Seahouses for three nights over the August bank holiday and in general we were a bit disappointed. The main problems we encountered were to do with the shower room / toilet. This room was so narrow that you had to stand to the side of the sink to use it. To save space a folding... more
