Best pub in Northumberland. Always make time to visit when in the area. Stunning interior. Range of local real ales a bonus. Views over the harbour another addition. Still used by the locals and not just the tourists.

Busy welcoming bar for a drink. Good service by plenty of staff. Impressive choice of ales on draught as well as the selection of whisky's on the top shelf. Lots of quirky seafaring artefacts around to look at whilst conversing over a drink.

Stopped a couple of nights, great selection of well kept beers, but nowhere to drink them comfortably as bar completely stuffed. No room in any of the restaurant areas for dinner on the first night. As luck would have it we eat elsewhere across the road but were unluckily enough to have a table on the second night. Can't imagine... More

Table booked for 7pm in the Cabin. A tightly run ship run by Kim with a pleasant cheery chatty persona for the evening. All Staff very pleasant indeed. Food was lovely ribs and steak with generous portions. A very happy ship with excellent service.

We’ve been coming to Seahouses regularly over the years and always go in the Olde Ship Inn for a drink. It’s full of character with its nautical theme and sits above the lovely fishing village of Seahouses. It’s definitely quirky, has a cosy and busy bar, friendly local people, great cask ale and a cosy eating area. It has a... More

Spent a night here as part of a trip further south and found this pub because other establishments in Bamburgh were full. In short we were pleased that the other town was overrun with tourists, otherwise we would never have found the Olde Ship. Given the fact that it was still holiday season and that we were coming in off... More

Superb small bar packed to the rafters with locals. Excellent range of ales. Probably the best beer garden in England with stunning views of the harbour and the Farnes. The food was disappointing. Served in a tiny room packed to the rafters with us tourists. Cheap ingredients and we left most of it. Perhaps it is about return custom. Highly... More

We thought we would visit the pub for coffee and deserts, wish we had not bothererd, it was terrible, the coffee was cold and half a cup and the milk given with the tea was the small cartons of UHT whole milk, dreadful. The deserts were terrble and not worth the money i asked for sticky toffee pudding, and what... More

We had dinner on the last night of our holidays and really enjoyed our meals. The service was efficient and quick. The food was tasty, cooked well and the portions decent. But be aware that you need to book as it is very busy, always a good sign in my opinion.
