This friendly, cosy pub is an institution and has been our favourite for thirty-odd years! Always friendly, serving consistently great well-kept beer and we always spot something new among the extensive maritime memorabilia! Happy Sundays!

I've never stayed in the accommodation here, but the pub is great. Nice selection of beers and ales and some wonderful hidey hole corners for drinking with friends. Friendly feel and I particularly like the nautical themes around the pub on the ceilings and walls

This pub is truly a gem. We popped in for a few beers on arrival in Seahouses and returned that evening and the following evening. The small main bar is really cosy and has a great selection of real ales which change daily, along with a few regular local brews. We had to go into the secondary cabin bar the... More

What a pub! Great banter from the staff. Great choice of hand-pulled beer. Special ciders, dozens of whiskies. And to top it all - a mass of marine memorabilia to look at while supping. There is also an interesting coal fire that throws out lots of heat, so wear layers that you can remove when sitting inside. My wife and... More

Well what can I say ??? We have been coming here for years. The place is spotless, has a great choice of beers and drinks, the staff are polite and very hospitable. If only other places were as good as this. We will be back in the summer and can't wait.

We went to seahouses as we planned on visiting Bamburgh Castle. We called into the Olde Ship Inn for a drink at about 4pm and needed up staying all night. The people were very friendly the interior is amazing you honestly can't stop looking around. We will definitely be back soon

Our fourth visit over the years. A beautiful old pub, a magical nautical warren with a cosy, friendly welcome. Little rooms everywhere but the main bar, with all the ship memorabilia, is the best bit. It's worth just visiting for a drink but we had the fish chowder and it was absolutely delicious, with warm bread and roast potatoes on... More

I found this to be a great little pub when on holiday but it was quite cramped but that adds character! The walls are filled with many ornaments and you never know where to look!! I gave 4/5 because it isn't my ideal pub but the staff and locals are very very friendly.

Made this our 1st stop on our first visit to the area and after reading glowing reviews we couldn't wait to sample the great welcome and interaction from the locals. We walked in to the pub to be greeted by an 'American Werewolf in London' welcome, jeez, it was a joke! We walked in the wrong door looking for the... More

Walked into this pub after not visiting for a year. Within 5 minutes i had tried 2 ciders and been in a selfie with some locals! A super friendly pub where the beer is good, almost as good as the company!
