5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

stayed here last night. Excellent location, food, ale.Stayed in a newly refurbished suite overlooking the harbour very clean, warm with great decor. Best thing all the staff were very helpful and friendly nothing too much trouble. Mr Glen (owner) continues to run a very clean and welcoming hotel in the heart of beautiful Northumberland. Well worth a visit Thankyou

Really friendly staff and fab log fire. The rooms have been done so well- really exceeded my expectations. Room 4 is really warm (it must be above the kitchen or something). I stayed in freezing January and needed the window open! Heating very effective and nice bathroom.

A cosy, warm pub offering a wide range of great real ale. The staff will provide tasters with little persuasion! With a lively mix of locals and visitors it was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the day.

We called into the Olde Ship Seahouses in November and have been here before a few times. This is one of the pubs you must visit in the Northumberland area . Full of character and a real fire and interesting environment . No Electric till . all the staff can add up .. thats a change . Lots of dining... More

Well I have travelled all over the world and have to say no finer pub have I frequented. I spoke with one of the managers/ owners who was so informative on the history. So the biggest range of ales whiskey and rums!. With a huge collection of nautical artefacts on display. This has to be the best pub I have... More

Went to Seahouses for a Three day break last weekend, and what an unexpected pleasure ! The staff at The Olde Ship couldn't do enough for us, and were so accommodating, pleasant & friendly throughout our stay. The room (double en-suite) overlooked the lovely harbour, and was immaculately clean and tidy, and bed 'made up' and towels changed on a... More

This is a traditional pub that attracts a lot of locals and weekenders, and deservedly so. The bedrooms are varied so be careful, we stayed in the 4 poster bedroom, which was spacious and characterful with a reasonable bathroom. Our friends stayed in other rooms that were not as good. The bar is full of atmosphere and has an excellent... More

Whenever we come to Seahouses "The Ship" is always our favourite place for a drink. As always, tonight there was an excellent selection of hand pulled beer and as always served to perfection. We arrived as a young family so can only sit in the cabin bar at the back, it was busy as usual so had to stand and... More

The service was great, nothing was too much trouble. Food was reasonable priced and good quality. The pub is lively and well attended by the locals, always a good sign. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area

As usual we always go to the Old Ship for beer, from past experiences the bar is great, so we decided to dine there..what a mistake. Our Wedding anniversary dinner would have been better had we had fish and chips out of a wrapper. The first course of shared crab with shrimps was devoid of white meat OR shrimps and... More
