called in on a winter lunchtime. The bar had a roaring fire and not surprisingly was packed with customers. They have a big selection of real ales with several guest beers at any one time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at the ship for a weekend, the room was lovely with a nice comfortable bed. Staff were so friendly and helpful, the bar is very welcoming, with a roaring open fire, great on a cold wintery day, and full of fishing and sea artifacts. Well worth a visit for a cosy weekend away exploring beautiful northumberland.

We came across The Olde Ship Inn by chance and were fascinated by the huge array of maritime memorabilia on display through the various bars. We only had a pot of tea so cannot comment on the food or array of beers and spirits available but it was a great atmosphere and well worth a visit.

We stayed here with my in laws on Thursday night this week. The old codgers had the Upper Deck and we had the Lower Deck below them. The hotel is literally a stone's throw away from the small working harbour and both rooms are afforded striking views of the harbour, the Farne Islands and the beautiful Northumberland coast line. The... More

A cosy, warm pub offering a wide range of great real ale. The staff will provide tasters with little persuasion! With a lively mix of locals and visitors it was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the day.
