Very friendly owners[but not in your face] Clean comfortable accommodation in a character building. Excellent breakfasts with good choice. Only gripe was we are used to a larger bed than a double but the lack of a larger bed did not spoil our stay in any way..Would reccommend to anyone.

We spent two nights in Seahouses as part of a mid-March trip along the North East coast, and The Old Manse B&B was the perfect base. Our en-suite room was spacious, light, and very clean and comfortable. Despite the fairly frequent snow showers, we were very warm and cosy. Coming down for breakfast in the morning to a prettily laid... More

In this stunning part of the country, we found the Old Manse to be an ideal, relaxed spot from which to explore. The owners take exceptional care and the room was, pleasant and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious. Parking is easy and it's a pleasant walk to an amazing beach. A very relaxing place to stay.

Very enjoyable stay - a gem of a B&B in a fantastic part of the country. We would echo the many other comments about the friendly service, great facilities, superb breakfast and good location. Highly recommended.

We had intended to stay at another B and B, but the owners had to close due to serious illness, so the Old Manse was a last minute change to our plans- we fell on our feet! Quiet, our room was bigger than its picture on this site would suggest. The beds were more comfortable than many expensive hotels, and... More

The Old Manse is a truly lovely little - only two bedrooms - bed & breakfast in Seahouses. I really could not have asked for more in a B&B - comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, a splendid breakfast and hosts who were actually interested in what we were doing (and were, upon request, quite prepared to make recommendations about... Our room had a small on-suite shower room that was spotless. The room had a TV, hair dryer, tea, coffee and chocolate. Breakfast was very pleasant. Free wireless internet access. Parking was no issue. Situated in the town of Seahouses and is about a 10 minute walk to the sea front. Definitely would stay again.

I can warmly recommend the Old Manse which is perfectly situated for a relaxing break. Very friendly and helpful owners - rooms were spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was really superb. We found it very well situated with good walking and lots to see in the surrounding area. It is probably the best Guest House we have... More
