WOW what a beautiful guest house and such lovely hosts. So close to the local ammenities and country pubs. The rooms are immaculate and breakfast first class. I would highly reccommend staying here and will definately be checking in again myself.

We were lucky enough to find this lovely B&B and spend two nights in first class accommodation. Beautiful room ,lovely comfortable bed and great breakfast. Being veggie it was nice to have Eggs Benedict adapted to suit non meat eater. Very filling though but just what you need to set you up for the day. Wilf greeted us at the... More

We had a very warm welcome to this lovely guest house. The home made cake and chocolate was a lovely little touch. The rooms were nicely decorated and the visitor lounge was very warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were fabulous with local kippers available on request. We would definitely re visit if we were in the area.

We were a party of two couples staying for one night as our menfolk were doing the great north bike ride the next day. We arrived early to leave the bikes as had been arranged, Wilf greeted us advising that the rooms were ready so we were welcome to have them straight away. Wyndgrove is a lovely place to stay,... Warm welcome, comfortable room. "Proper" milk available for the tea & coffee in our room much appreciated. On a quiet road but only a 10 min walk to find the eating places recommended. Great breakfast. Would definitley return.

We arrived ( my girlfriend and I ) here on the 5th August for a 2 night stay. Upon arrival we were met by Wilf and he gave us a quick tour and explained the breakfast and local area to us both. First impressions were great - a lovely building inside and out, extremely clean, the bed in our room... More

We are wondering if this is the same owner, or if there was someone standing in for hm. The person who 'greeted' us was certainly not hospitable. In fact we felt totally uncomfortable for the short time we were there. Arrival is 4pm and departure 10 a.m. No welcome to breakfast, ignored until we asked for coffee. He must have... More

We do not usually respond to our reviews however we feel its very necessary to respond to this one. After taking over this business nearly two years ago now we have worked really hard to make it as guest focused as possible, going that extra mile in adding handmade touches and taking pride in making our guests feel at home... Stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding in Bamburgh. We were made very welcome by owner when we arrived, gave some very helpful tips for enjoying our short stay in the area. Room was very spacious and the bed was one of the best I've stayed in. Power shower is superb. Breakfast was perfect, a good mix between healthy... More

Upon our arrival at this hotel we were greeted warmly and even got to choose the room that we were staying in! This was even after we requested a very early check in! The room was spacious and clean! And the bed was really comfortable! Again the bathroom was clean and towels were great! The owners were friendly and couldn't... More
