Mainston House is no ordinary B&B! We visited on Sun 25th Oct with another couple and were lucky enough to stay in Grande Deluxe room (I think that's what they call it) and I have to admit was feeling maybe a little bit synical prior to arriving as to how any £80.00 B&B could be considered Grande Deluxe!! My wife and I have just spent 3 days at Mainston House and the hosts, Carol and Simon treated us like friends. We couldn't have wished for better. We have just returned from 2 days staying at the Mainston guest house in Seahouses. The hotel was very easy to find, 2 mins walk from the harbour and had on site parking.
