Stayed here for the dark skies hoping to view the milky way. Unfortunateley didnt get to see it even though skies were crystal clear on our last night. Saw the start of a meteor shower which was nice to watch and once all the lights went out on the hotel the sky lit up like a blanket of glitter, never... More

Enjoyed a 3 night break hoping to see the "dark sky" and have a rest. We succeeded on both counts. Staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfasts and in particular being able to come down and eat in the delightful dining room in the evening. It was warm with a lovely log burner and the food was excellent.... More

Enjoyed a brief one night stay for a friends wedding recently. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff and owners, and the setting is stunning. Room comfortable and facilities more than adequate. Would be more than happy to recommend spending your hard earned's here.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in the middle of beautiful countryside or stand under skies so full of stars that it's mindblowing! The pub was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We were greeted warmly and shown to the room which was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable... More

Mr husband and two great friends had evening dinner here Monday last. There was lots of variety on the menu. All food was superbly cooked and presented. A great night out with very friendly service from the staff. Highly recommended.

I travel from the English midlands to Scotland fairly regularly and the A68 is my preferred route; an interesting drive with stunning scenery. The Redesdale Arms is a must for travellers on this road. I try and stop whenever I pass; for a coffee, or a meal or - preferably - overnight. One is assured of a warm welcome from... More

We often visit this place on our way up the a68, brilliant food although the menu has changed a wee bit since we last visited. steaks are to die for as are the chips - proper home cooked food. creme brûlée was magical, also seen a sticky toffee go past and that smelt devine. reasonable prices.

The Redesdale Arms is located on a great spot along the A68 surrounded by the beautiful, rural landscape that is the Northumberland National Park. The staff were polite and friendly. Good pub grub and ambiance. Fast Wi-Fi. Seriously considering going there again for a Dark Sky event.

We were travelling back from Edinburgh via the beautiful A68 and by chance stopped at this restaurant. We had a lovely lunch at a reasonable price. It also has a stunning view of the countryside just over the road. We didn't have time but I imagine there are some fantastic walks.
