Just back from a lovely stay at Elishaw Farm Cottage. It was a total delight in every way. Spotless clean, warm, welcoming, beautifully situated, well appointed and had everything needed. We loved it and so did our dogs. Lots of nice touches - scummy cake, fresh flowers and eggs waiting for us. Highly recommend.

The cottages are comfortable and very well equipped. This is a great base to see everything Northumberland has to offer. The little extras like cake and... More

Stayed in the chicken coop cottage for three nights. Having travelled from Cornwall to attend a wedding it made the whole weekend, there was no pressure when we had to arrive or leave and once we arrived it was such a relaxing place I forgot I had driven for so many hours as was so peaceful. Its an amazing place... More

Excellent facilities. One of the nicest places we ve ever stayed and we do this type of holiday a few times a year. Stayed in the Chicken Coop which was ideal for myself, partner and a Husky and Alaskan malamute. Log burner adds extra character. All essential supplies were in the cottage on arrival so we need not have packed... More

We've just had our second holiday in Chicken Coop Cottage and have again had a really wonderful time. We were there with our 2 boys aged 7 and 9 and our 1 year old flatcoated retriever, Poppy, and what a feast of adventures there are to be had at Elishaw! The boys absolutely love the rope swings, the hammock and... More

This was our second stay at Elishaw Farm and was just a good as the first. We have even decided to spend Christmas here! We also recommended staying here to my brother and his girlfriend who loved it just as much as us and also decided to come back for Christmas - let's hope it snows :)

Our second time staying in chicken coop cottage, the first time was 6 years ago when we stayed for a week in December for our honeymoon. This time round was a 3 night short break with our four year old daughter. It was just how we remembered it. Clean, cosy and comfortable. A freshly baked cake, wine, chocolates and even... More

This was our third visit to Farmhouse Cottage and not our last as we still have a long list of wonderful walks to do and places to visit. We can only echo all the positive comments that other reviewers have made. Thank-you Tina and Alan for the warm welcome, milk, lovely fresh eggs and delicious cake. A real home from... More
