A fantastically clean and well equipped cottage in a great location for exploring Northumberland. A really nice touch was the home made cake, fresh eggs and the pint of milk left for us by Tina and Alan on our arrival. The kids enjoyed the facilities on the farm such as the rope swing in the barn, the swings in the... More

Excellent accommodation in a great rural location, affording an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of Northumberland. With a rope swing in the barn, swings and hammock in the orchard and a further larger field leading onto a private stretch of river there is plenty to entertain the children and the dog. What a lovely surprise to find... More

Stayed for a week between Christmas & New Year. Tina the owner was extremely helpful from the outset and the home made mince pies, and mulled wine were a perfect welcome when we arrived. We stayed in Farmhouse cottage and were bowled over by the comfort, cleanliness and beauty of the property. If I had to sum Elishaw Farm up... More

This was my first Christmas away and from the moment I arrived at Elishaw Farm it felt like home! The cosy cottage had everything that was needed - including it's own Christmas Tree which was a nice touch! Christmas & Boxing Day had clear blue skies and a hard frost over the gorgeous surrounding countryside - ideal for walking off... More

We've just enjoyed a really lovely week in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. We stayed in the cosy and perfectly formed Farmhouse Cottage at Elishaw with our two boys (age 6 and 8). Hosts Tina and Alan are extremely welcoming and friendly and proved to be an absolute godsend when we had an issue with a puncture on our car (thank... More

Well, I can just repeat the excellent previous reviews! I stayed with a friend in the Chicken Coop View cottage for 3 nights (shame it was not 10 nights!) and it was absolutely perfect.
