Stayed at this bed and breakfast for two nights at the end of March 2015. We arrived at the bed and breakfast after a long day travelling/working where we were greated by Julie on arrival and immediately offered tea or coffee. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available in the room. I stayed in room 1, double en-suite, which... More

Stepping Stones is in a great central spot, right in the heart of Morpeth. Julie and Keith are wonderful hosts. We were treated to afternoon tea on arrival, which was most welcome after a long drive. The rooms were fantastic, and the breakfast was great. Parking permits were given to us on arrival, and we parked right out the front... More

Excellent bed and breakfast based in the town of Morpeth with easy access to Newcastle. Very friendly owners who make you feel welcome and are helpful and informative. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The cooked breakfast is delicious and there are lots of choices. I've stayed here a few times and would thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here last week after being unable to find any accommodation in Newcastle due to the whole city being booked up for the Great North Run and we had booked a show at the Metro Radio Arena so we ended up in Morpeth. All I can say is what a find ... Morpeth is a beautiful town with lots... More

I wanted to write a review as i'd seen the bad review left and feel its completely inaccurate. My Boyfriend and I were staying in Morpeth for a wedding all the way from Kent we also had room one which was lovely, yes it is a little dated but I think that goes with the style of the house and... I stayed here with 4 mates on a cycling trip through Northumberland. On arrival Keith stowed away our bikes, we were presented with coffee and cake and got the low-down on the local restaurants from Julie. Rooms were fine and we had a great breakfast.

This B&B is one of the most if not the most hospitable B&B I've ever been to. I stayed under extraordinary circumstances, with my toddler (wife had to go to the nearby hospital while were on holiday in the area). We felt very well looked after, which is just what I needed at the time. The room rates were reasonable... More

On arrival Keith brought us up some tea and biscuits which was a nice touch! I would like to be more positive about the room but I'm afraid I can't! We stayed in room 1 which had a double and a single bed. The view from the room is over the river and definitely the better side to the house... More

Were up for the gathering, and were able to check in the say before, allowing is to arrive later at nice, lovely spacious room, big enough for the 3, of us, great welcome and hospitality, huge breakfast much to my husband's delight, even provided sweets for the journey home for my daughter, which was so very kind, felt like home... In Morpeth for the Festival weekend and involved in 17th Century re-enactment. Arrived in the pouring rain to be greeted by Julie who ensured my case was taken up to my room whilst Keith came out with me to show me where to park my car in a private and safe car park. Got back to a large pot of... More
