We followed a sign on the main road to find this place and got a lovely surprise. Spacious room with everything provided. Only a couple of miles down a little country lane to the pub for dinner, great atmosphere. Then breakfast was in a lovely sunroom overlooking farmland.

What a gem!! My partner and I returned to beautiful unspoilt Northumberland for an Easter break and we were again not disappointed. Ricky runs Northumberland Cottage B and B with old-fashioned hospitality, individualism and attention to detail which is so rare in our culture of sterile chain hotels. Room and bed very comfortable and welcoming. Delicious home cooked breakfast, accompanied... More

Fantastic little bed and breakfast, beautiful room on the top floor with beautiful views! Very clean bath room and comfortable beds for the family! Hosts are very friendly would definitely recommend this place to anyone only 2 mins drive to Eshott Hall where we attended a wedding. 5 star service great little find!

Ricky is to say the least is a bit of a card, you'll not find him wanting when it comes to his opinion he's a Marmite kind of Guy, clean and tidy nice to have a bottle of mineral water, teas and other beverages were there plus biscuits and if you can't stand uht milk Rickey was very amenable to supply... Fantastic stay. Attic room lovely views, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast great, especially choice and fresh fruit. Loved Ricky to bits, lovely man, liked a bit of banter. He was helpful giving us directions and ideas of where to get a meal etc. Nice rural quiet setting. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Travelled up to Morpeth for a wedding and Ricky showed us to out room overlooking the moor, which has a fantastic view. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Very helpful host and I would recommend a stay if you are in the area. Thank you Ricky for looking after... Spent a night here as we had travelled for a wedding at Eshott Hall. The owner (Ricky) was very helpful and a genuine nice guy helping from the start with the booking right through to even dropping us off at Eshott hall in his own car. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds and nice En suite. Breakfast was great and... More

Stayed for one night and had a comfortable stay. Everything is as has already been said on recent reviews. i particularly liked the range of fresh fruit available at breakfast. The one thing i didn't realise was that it isn't in a village or town, and there's no public transport, so we had to drive to get a very good... More
