Loved this place. Comfortable and friendly, nice room with really clean linen and a fresh feel to everything. A banquet for breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. The location is great for the delights of Northumberland we are going on to visit Craigside and Brinkburn Priory. Would come back.

We travel round the uk competing (eventing & horse trials) staying in B&Bs and hotels. I have to say this is by far one of the best low cost B&Bs I have stayed in - on par with some of our more expensive holidays but at half the price. Amazing views!! Highly recommended and we will be back for each... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was an excellent B&B with very clean spotless rooms with all the little extras that made it a pleasant stay. Our room was located at the top of the house and was very spacious with armchair and sofa overlooking the fields through a large picture window. The breakfast was great with plenty... More

This must be one of the best B&Bs we've had the pleasure of staying in. Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was great, just as it should be, with plenty of choice of fruit, cereals and a full cooked breakfast, if you could manage it. I would recommend Northumberland Cottage to anyone who was... More

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding at Eshott Hall. The owner was extremely friendly and very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money. A great choice of options and all very fresh. The room was clean and very well equipped. Garden was well tended.

This is an extremely pleasant place to sty. Very clean and fresh with a wonderful breakfast. Only downside is that you need to drive for a few miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Close to Eshott Hall if you are attending a function there.
