One of the best B&B's I have stayed in. Accommodation excellent, very clean and tidy. Breakfast excellent. Very good value for money and highly recommended. The host was very helpful with helping us with transport to nearby Eshott Hall.

The room was very nice and well equiped. We were greeted with a warm welcome and received great hospitality during our stay. We werent at the cottage much as we were at a wedding nearby but it served us well. Breakfast was good too and value for money.

We have just had one of the best nights stay of our trip. This is truly a beautiful B&B. the room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ricky our host prepared a superb breakfast with so much variety. His garden was spectacular. I only wish we will be able to visit again. Thank you Ricky

What do you ideally want from a B&B? Perhaps, a nice spacious room, comfortably and pleasantly furnished, an en-suite bathroom, all spotlessly clean, with every convenience of home, a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep, and the guarantee of a good quality, generous breakfast? It's all here in one excellent package. Then add a few extra benefits. The property... More

My partner and i stayed here for two nights as we were up for a wedding at Eshott hall. We both agree, its the best place we have stayed in so far, having traveled all over staying in many places this is a great compliment and so well deserved. The rooms and ensuite bathrooms are immaculate and well presented, a... More

We stayed one night en-route to Edinburgh having booked it after reading the many excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. It certainly lived up to its reputation. We thought the range of foods provided at breakfast was remarkable, and the view of the garden and the surrounding countryside, on what was a perfect July morning, made the meal special. We would certainly... More

Two night stay on recent visit to Farne Isles. Really lovely accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Lots of attention to detail for example cotton pads and buds and bath crème in en-suite bathroom. Smashing views and breakfast with lots of choice. Nothing too much trouble. Super host with great sense of humour which seems to be an integral part of the people... More

lovely decor, off the beaten track, very comfortable. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Signs on main road, led to a little gem. Rick was very welcoming and it was nice to gave an easy chair in our bedroom.

Myself and a friend were visiting The Farne Islands and needed a couple of nights stay. I honestly wish it could have been longer, as the accommodation was perfect. Everything was spotless and furnished with a lot of thought...pure white sheets and towels, en suite immaculate and the very best breakfasts with a lot of choice. Ricky was a lovely... More
