Came here for a great holiday with all the family. The lodges were good and very clean. Excellent location as you're not too far away from great tourist attractions. Would have got 5 stars apart from the abrupt and unfriendly staff who couldn't be bothered to uncover the hot tub for us in the 'swim spa', even though it wasn't... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in a 'sleeps 5' - 'luxury' log cabin. Initial contact was very positive however the web site very much over-represents these cabins. I am not sure why they are called luxury. The cabins themselves are nice enough - once you get to them through the not so nice caravan site. Although... More

We stayed in the Cheviot lodge for the week commencing 4th August. A couple of negatives ....no fish in the lake - this was quite disappointing for my Dad as our search criteria was to find somewhere with on-site fishing to keep him occupied - The site manager said the lake was being looked after my a private Company and... Recent stay here with young family. Some good points, but needs improving. Very good location for seeing the area - right next to the A1 (not too much traffic noise - it's a few minutes drive from the turn-off to the "park"). Nice pond/small lake in the centre. Despite some of the criticisms I'd make, I would say that overall... More

On arrival the girl on reception was very unhelpful and didn't really seem to care. The lock on our lodge was broken and she just kept sending us back saying it wasn't broken and gave us the key for another lodge. Eventually another very helpful member of staff came with a toolkit to fix it for us. Although the facilities... More

I really wanted to like Felmoor Park, its in a fantastic location and seems like a nice quiet park but it obviously depends on which cabin you choose and who you get staying next door to you. We stayed in Lindisfarne because I wanted a 3 bed. From the pictures I could tell that the interior was dated but thats... More

Just stayed in the Chatton luxury log cabin. We are a family of 4 with 2 older kids (13 and 11). The cabin was very spacious, spotlessly clean and fitted out with all mod cons - wonderful kitchen with granite workshops and splash backs, great big bathroom with spa bath and shower, the beds were very comfortable and had clearly... Just returned from a weeks stay at Felmoor Park. I must say that 1st impressions were brilliant. The reception staff that met us on arrival were polite and helpful and the accommodation (Caribou lodge) was spotless and well equipped. However, on the Sunday morning we found that the bath plug would not operate and it meant that we couldn't have... More

I have just returned from a three night stay at Felmoor Park where I used Puddleduck Lodge as a base for a local painting course. I cannot speak highly enough about the lodge. It was immaculately clean and superbly comfortable.. and had absolutely everything you could possibly want for a self catering break . Although I used the lodge as... More
