Lovely quiet b&b, beautiful surroundings and very friendly owners. Very close to kielder which is great for exploring. Would definitely recommend here for a relaxing break for couples or families. Breakfast was great also!

My husband, daughter and I were in need of a place to stay for 1 night close to the Winter Wonderland location of Kielder Forest. I had spent ages online looking for somewhere that would accommodate the 3 of us in one room as my daughter is only 3 and it seemed silly paying for 2 separate rooms when she... More

We stayed at Bridgeford for one night during a walking trip through Northumberland. It is located in a farm building approximately a mile away from Bellingham. Our hosts were extremely friendly. Since we were a bit exhausted from our days walk, they took us to Bellingham by car for dinner and collected us again later. The location is very quiet... More

We arrived early and the host Isabel was very accommodating by letting us into our room early. The farm is VERY remote. You have to drive along a track for half a mile through herds of sheep before you reach the house. Pros: Isobel was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean if a bit grandma-ish, very quiet... More

We arrived earlier than expected on Saturday after visiting the local Vindolanda and Hadrian's Wall. We were welcomed by by both of our hosts who were happy to chat about the farm and local area. The farm is away from the main road and surrounded by fields with sheep and lambs and backing onto a river. We heard no road... More

This is a real working farm but it was so quiet and peaceful. The only noise was the odd sheep bleating and this was minimal due to the double glazing. It is the best night's sleep I've had for ages. Breakfast was lovely too. The view from our room was great. I saw a red squirrel and a nuthatch a... More

Bridgeford farm is a real working farm. It is in a quiet secluded location. It is part of the Duke of Northumberlands estate. Irene was very friendly and happy to suggest options for dinner. The room we had;The Pink room (despite being largely blue decoration) was very large and had a huge separate bathroom. Would happily stay there again.
