From the moment you phone with your enquiry you know exactly what your going to get - warts and all. Comfortable, clean room , 4 poster bed but with a lace top so not claustrophobic, great tasty breakfast - all with Shaun thrown in. Good fun with plenty of insight to the Island. Only downside is that there is no... More

We stayed in the Lindisfarne Hotel for two nights in July. Im going to get straight to the point as i don't even want to waste my time on writing a review on such a disgusting hotel. Our breakfast was greasy and you could tell all the ingredients were cheep. The staff weed rude, especially the owner Sean. His attitude... More

A warm welcome and plenty of craic from Sean. Lovely clean and comfy room. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order. Great place to stay and explore the island. Lovely quiet location yet close to all amenities.

Fantastic long weekend spent up on Holy Island. Couldn't ask for better hosts, Sean is a proper character and makes you feel at home from the moment you step in to the hotel. The family kinda took over the hotel for the weekend, wonderful breakfasts with lots of choices. The rooms were spot on. I would highly recommend the Lindisfarne... More

A very warm welcome from Sean and Jackie, with a complementary cup of tea. We hadn't booked an evening meal as Sean had advised; nevertheless he immediately phoned round to try and get us in somewhere. When this proved impossible, Jackie willingly offered to cook us an evening meal, or to make a sandwich, which she need not have done... More

Arrived on a Monday afternoon after a 18 mile walk from Wooler. Sean's welcome to this footsore St. Cuthbert's Way walker was just what was needed and a cup of tea as well! Normally I'd balk at a ground floor room (12 or the princess room as Sean described it) but it was just what I needed and it had... More

The hotel is almost the first building you see as you get into the village. When you check in you'll get Sean's warm welcome and hints and tips which were invaluable. We were in room 6 which was lovely and large with a great double view. As other people have said the shower pressure is low but it gets the... More

Charming surroundings with very friendly and humorous proprietor. Shower was rather cramped but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and served quickly with humour and friendliness. I would definitely stay here again if I were holidaying on holy island. A truly lovely and cozy place to unite with family.

Sean's welcome really set us off in the right mood for a great stay on Holy Island. Plenty of good info on what to see with a map. We had a ground floor room which was very clean and very quiet, we didn't hear any other guests until we saw them at breakfast and realised the hotel was full! Shower... More

This was a lovely hotel, comfortable, very clean and light. Sean made our visit a very happy one, and we hope that Jackie is soon feeling better. Sean was very helpful, and informative about the island, and places to eat. The Bean Goose was the best place to eat. The only down-side to the hotel is the water pressure. It... More
