Our first visit to Lindisfarne and what a great hotel. Nice big room, sea and Priory view, comfy bed, nice big bath etc etc. And breakfast? Fruit, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, fruit juice, toast, coffee/tea..and that's before the choice of full English or kippers. Very friendly staff and a very smart place - would love to return!

We tagged one night on at the end of our week up in the north east and I wanted to stay on Holy Island. This hotel is situated right in the centre of the island so is very accessible. Good car parking to the side. Room was comfortable enough albeit a bit too warm, and as this was Saturday night... More

Spent a birthday night on Holy Island on 19th November. Lovely welcoming voice when booking the hotel by phone, saying that she would give us the room with the best view. It was! over looking the priory and the castle. Warm and clean hotel. Friendly girls and chef. Our room was lovely, lots of room, large comfortable bed, very clean... More

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot. We have a 19-month old boy, and the staff were helpful and friendly with him. Our room had comfortable beds and we slept well. The shower was a little disappointing, though, and could be updated. The breakfasts were good and generous. We also ate all three dinners at... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Manor Hotel. We have been to Holy Island before but not stayed at this particular hotel. The position of the hotel next to the Priory and with magnificent views of Lindisfarne Castle is superb. We were offered what was originally the Master's bedroom (3) which is both large and well... We stayed in Room 4 which had a great view of the harbour and Lindisfarne Castle. Very clean and the double bed was appreciated. Staff were helpful. Dinner was OK, but salmon with orange was not a good idea. The Northumberland breakfast was disappointing. Low quality sausages, dry scrambled egg, stumpy and undercooked tomato and bacon cooked in lard -... More

I had read some negative reviews about this place so was a little sceptical however this hotel did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good and our room (no 10) has amazing views towards the castle and to the Lindisfarne Priory which was just outside our side window. Great four poster bed, clean and tidy... More
