Lady in charge not very welcoming on arrival.Food good enough but never once offered coffee at end of evening meal ,as staff seemed too keen to get cleared up, close the bar as soon as possible and get to the pub over the road.As residents one would expect to be able to get a drink in the hotel at 10.30pm... more

Had a last minute overnight stay on Holy Island. Most accomodation was full when we phoned, but Manor House had rooms. The fact that we got a room last minute made us wonder why. No worries, the hotel was clean, the staff fantastic and the food lovely. Will use the hotel again without question. more

Outstanding B&B in every way! Lovely rooms, fully equipped, modern fixtures, and warm, friendly owners and staff. Typical Scottish pub in addition to a very nice dinning area with excellent service. We had a wonderful experience at this B&B and recommend it highly. more

The staff are very friendly and the scenery is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the upper room with ensuite and it was worth every penny. Three friends and myself stayed at the Manor House and had an incredible stay there. The bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. The food was fabulous. Two of my friends are vegetarian and were amazed at the huge choice offered to them. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Magnificent views of castle and... more

The Manor hotel looked the nicest on the island and I cannot fault our stay there. It was mine and my partner 1st holiday togethor and we decided to take a trip to Lindesfarne for part of this. The place is very relaxed and steeped in history. The bedroom was clean and nicely decorated. We stayed on dinner, bed and... more

We stayed a couple of nights in a 4 Poster Deluxe room with outstanding views of the Castle. The room was furnished nicely and had a new shower/toilet room. The Hotel is very quiet with no TV, Pool Table or Juke Box in the bar. If you want a relaxing stay then this is the place for you. After the... more

The Hotel is probably the nicest place to stay on the island, as it is an attractive building with the good views. Our room was clean and quite adequate. The staff were plentiful and very helpful. The downside was the food, we were staying on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. The food was ample but bland. I had a... more

After visiting Holy Island (Lindisfarne) for an afternoon with family i felt i failed to indulge everything Holy Island had to offer and decided to return with my partener. At first we planned to stay over the tide then travel on to berwick where we could stay the night but then on impulse changed our plans and decided if we... more
