Rang this morning to see if they had a table and we advised not a problem and to attend at 12.30pm. I had the chicken liver pate and my partner had the calamari. Followed by chicken and beef Sunday lunch. This is the 2nd time I have been here and the food is outstanding. The staff are very friendly, quick... More

We stopped here for two nights last week. Easy to find and a warm welcome. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. We decided to eat in the restaurant on our first evening which was very good. Home made steak pie and Eaton mess for me which were both very tasty. We had a good night's sleep in one... More

An ancient hostelry on the main road North from Wooler and only five miles from the Scottish Border at Coldstream, the Blue Bell Inn has proved a reliable eating place for those evenings when one wants someone else to do the cooking. No matter what time of year, restaurant is always busy and booking is almost essential at weekends. The... More

We have been to eat here on numerous occasions and have always found the meal to be excellent and never had any problems like the last review. The staff have always been very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. (We wondered if the last review were one of these customers that were looking for a free meal and drink... More

I visited the Blue Bell back in February, as a treat with my boyfriend for my birthday meal. We live close to Wooler, and in this area there are many places to eat out, but very few places that are worth visiting. Normally we visit the Red Lion at Milfield or the Milan Restaurant in Wooler, both where we get... More

Last meal at Blue Bell wasn't too brill. But that was before and this is now (under new management) What a difference. Had an amazing dinner this weekend. Staff friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault the food. Very, very tasty! Not too pricey either. Will definitely be back.

Staff welcoming, efficient and friendly. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent ( quality and quantity) The bedroom was more than adequate for an overnight stay and mention must be made on how comfortable the bed was and the efficiency of the shower. Both important factors in hotel accommodation. Would certainly recommend to other travellers looking for accommodation in this area.
