We were looking for somewhere relaxing and peaceful, but with high levels of service and accommodation. The Walls ticked every box - and then some! Our room was superior to many so-called "quality" hotels we've stayed at, with fantastic views out over the river. Stayed for two nights in The Walls room and cannot rate this place highly enough. From the minute we set foot inside we were impressed! Having decided to visit Berwick upon Tweed, we chose this B&B based on previous reviews-all the "excellents" were met and surpassed. We usually do not like B&B's, but this place is the exception to that rule. The location is prime. This was the best B&B we have ever stayed in, absolutely 5 star everything. We stayed in the Swan Room – better than any hotel rooms we have seen –furnishing was palatial with a great shower, fantastic views over the harbour area. The Breakfast was excellent. Great experience , reflected in the care to detail taken in the decoration and layout of this lovely place. We had a very relaxing time due to the excellent ambience created by the owners. it is an ideal base to see this neck of the woods and we would certainly use this again. as it is home from home.
