The room described as luxurious was large but a tad old fashioned and was somewhat cramped due to the furniture. The en suite was just adequate. However, the sitting room and dining rooms were very attractive as was the ambience of the house. Parking is available at the side of the house. Ruth was welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts... more

We have just enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Old Vicarage and we consider it to be just the best B and B in the country. Ruth and Maurice are exceptional hosts, welcoming and friendly. The meals were delicious, all fresh locally sourced produce and Ruth is an outstanding cook. The overall ambience and warmth of the Old Vicarage... more

The Old Vicarage is a beautiful building. Ruth & Maurice were very welcoming and exceptional hosts. The room was spacious and offered everything we could wish for. A hearty breakfast set us up for the day and the choice was really good. Far superior to many more expensive hotels we've stayed in. The Old Vicarage is only a few minutes... more

We had a fantastic time travelling round the Borders made even better knowing that we had found a little gem of a place to stay. The Old Vicarage was clean, comfortable and charming. The tasty and hearty breakfast set us up for out epic days out and it was nice to return to a cozy bed. We created some new... more

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and it was a perfect location for exploring the old town and surrounding area. A very comfortable eslablishment, clean, helpful hosts and good breakfasts. Walking distance to the old town is a major advantage. more

After reading all the previous reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided the Old Vicarage was the one for us. How true they all were, it was lovely. The atmosphere was great, and lots of extra little touches. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Just like an old vicarage!. The hosts were friendly too. Our friends are veggies, and they loved... more

We stayed two nights and were made very welcome at the Old Vicarage and would definitely go to this guest house again if we were in the area.A number of other guests appeared to have stayed here before, always a good sign! Our room was very clean and comfortable and we had excellent breakfasts which made use of local produce.... more

This beautiful vicarage is set in a very peaceful area in Tweedsmouth only a 15 minute walk across the bridge from the centre of Berwick. As well as parking in the grounds there is ample off road parking. Although I had a single room the room was spacious and very comfortable. Sadly, during my three night stay I did not... more

We stayed at the Old Vicarage in August and had a wonderful time. The Guest House is on the other side of the Tweed from the main part of Berwick but is probably all the better for that at the weekend. You can walk to all the restaurants and attractions in 5 / 10 minutes maximum and it is lovely... more
