Thanks Val for your great review & pleased your visit with us was an enjoyable one. In all honesty we try to let the food do the talking & use only fresh local produce. We receive continual glowing reports on our fish n chips, with fresh haddock in light batter, chunky chips & our own pea puree. The chicken you... More

Great sized and comfortable rooms, plenty of tea/coffee and fresh milk if you prefer. Really clean with little extras like the fresh fruit and sweets. The food in the restaurant is excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was beautiful, nice quality ingredients. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I... More

A big thanks for your super review. Its nice to know that the little touches don't go unrecognised. For me personally it what separates the small independent hotel to the multi chains. Although it hard for the individuals to have the collateral to invest like the bigger hotels I suppose the market has a broad spectrum to cover all aspects... More

Normally I stay with relatives when visiting Berwick but this visit was a surprise for my brother's BIG birthday celebrations. Thought I would try this hotel as I have always thought it looks nice and I was not disappointed. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated and the dish of fruit and Haribo was wets are a nice extra touch. Breakfast... More

My wife's 50th birthday. She wasn't really looking forward to this birthday. Thank goodness I went for the Queens Head Hotel. Lovely room with boutique style finish. Comfy beds and cleaned each day. Top quality food both at night and in the morning. Friendly staff headed by Garry, who it seems never sleeps. Well done, you have a cracking team... More

Thanks for your very kind words Neil but not sure we deserve the praise you are giving us. The old cliche ' just serving to the best of our capabilities'. Its nice to know that your wife's special birthday was a memorable & pleasurable with us & we sincerely hope to see you both in the future either by yourselves... More

This hotel has it all, it is very clean, friendly and helpful staff, in a quiet location and only a few minutes’ walk into town. It now has free parking a short distance away and to top it all it has FOOD TO DIE FOR. We stayed as a party of 10 for three nights so lots on the menu... More

A big thanks John for your continued support throughout the years. It certainly is nice when customers continue to return year after year especially considering how competitive the market is & it sort of shows that we must be doing something right but that certainly does not mean that we are resting on our laurels as this could not be... This is our 4th visit to Queens Head Hotel for our Staff Lunch and we have never once been disapointed! Although we are a small company, our special dietary needs can be quite difficult for restaurants to meet. We have one vegan, one low carbohydrate and one cinnamon intolerant. Most establisments would just tell you that "their menu, is their... More

Booked into the Queens Head Hotel as it was the last one available. Have to say that it is the best around here so hence not cheap for what you get. However, the restaurant is very busy so must be great food. Parking is on-street and limited to time, but free parking is about 3 mins away on the quayside... More

Many thanks for your constructive review grumpsdrew. We are happy your stay with us was an enjoyable one but have to disagree with regards to saying Berwick is a sad town!!! In all honesty I am pretty offended by your comments as Berwick is an historic town surrounded by medieval walls. There is so much to see but you need... More
