We booked this site through the newspaper as a cheap deal so can't complain about the price. But the standard of the accommodation and the value of the entertainment passes left a lot to be desired. The location itself is excellent, with Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Berwick Upon Tweed within easy reach. Check in was straightforward and efficient. But then we... more

I booked a last minute half term break. Superior plus caravan for 4 nights. On arrival following check in , we arrived at our 1st van, it was dirty, sticky hand prints everywhere, dirty cup stained dining table, damp smelling bedrooms, oven door would not close, living room carpet had been removed with evidence of carpet tufts around edge of... more

I booked Haggerston through the sun newspaper £9.50 hols. Caravan (standard) was very nice, clean and spacious and quite warm considering it was middle of October. Site was bigger than we thought and plenty for our two boys to do (5 and 2yrs) Our tv broke one night and was replaced almost immediately. The down side is that it is... more

Not quite the horror stories we read about in other reviews. Caravan Ok, but could be cleaner, but at the end of the season i guess it wasnt too bad. Site was tidy - didnt see much litter. However, I cant believe people pay for an entertainment pass. We weren't charged, but i wouldnt have paid. Our son (5) loved... more

Everything at this park is chargeable! bouncy castles, go karts ( all falling apart), trampolines etc the only thing we found was a small swing park and some limited time in the pool that you did not have to put your hand in your pocket. Not enough changing facilities or showers. No air conditioning in the clubs, prices of drinks... more

We were a family group og 5 adults with 2 children, 2 and 4. We had an early check in where the staff were really efficient and friendly, and I thought what a great start. On arrival at the caravan, it was ok, not the great expectations you would be hoping for with a so called 5 star park. We... more

Let me start by saying, if you are taking the time to check this place out online then it's probably not for you... We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, myself, husband, 2 year old daughter and friends with children. We hired a Prestige Caravan and the beds weren't big enough for grown... more
