I stayed at this Travelodge on Thursday 8th November. Having read the previous reviews I requested and was given a quiet room: upstairs rear-facing at the far end of the corridor by the fire-exit. Generally we find Travelodges OK as a last resort, but this one was actually quite good with the exception of the noise coming from the fast food place next to it. more

I endorse LancashireBramble's comments. The Travelodge itself is fine, and strategcially well placed, It's fairly new, in good condition with good staff. There is no lift. However the McDonalds right in front with a drive-through attracts youngsters on noisy motorbikes and cars with loud stereos late into the night. This is a nuisance. The travel lodge its self was fine - standard chain ensuite room, clean, warm etc. But in my opinion it was in a bad location. Stayed here Sat. March 11th, en route to the Highlands. Its an ideal location, quite near the town,with Morrison's handy for a decent meal and shopping. However its a windy old place is Berwick,so wrap up well if you're going soon. more
