Excellent, spacious twin room. Everything immaculately clean. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast with all you could wish for including home-made jam. A good base for Lindisfarne Island and other attractions.

Spent two nights here in early June. This is an immaculately kept home in a beautiful, quiet area several miles from Berwick and with ample parking. The only sound we could hear were the chirping birds. Our ensuite room was not that large, however the bed was comfortable and there was sufficient storage both in the bedroom and bathroom. There... Stayed with another couple for two nights. They had the large room with ensuite and except for the bathroom being on the smallish side, they were happy with their room. We had the other double bedroom which is fairly small but would have been happy to stay there rather than move to the two single beds the second night. We... More

On behalf of my husband and I, I would like to say what a little gem of a place to stay. Andrew, my husband, chose this place and he did well. We were greeted by Maureen on arrival with a lovely cup of coffee/tea and fabulous scones and jam Andrew fell in love with (rhubarb and ginger) The room was... More

An exceptional retreat of the highest standard. I had a blissful stay of three nights and cannot praise it highly enough. The whole house is tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable and most relaxing. The breakfast is superb and beautifully cooked and the tea and scones on arrival are most welcome. The owners were very hospitable and utterly charming. If I'm ever... More

We stayed one night late January. We had a wonderful welcome of scone and coffee, and a made to order breakfast. Room was very comfortable and clean, especially the bed. It's about 5 miles from Berwick in a farming community, so it was near impossible to find after dark (4pm) for us, but this shouldn't be an issue normally, or... More

Stayed at "The Old School house" for one night. It's a fantastic place to stay, very clean and modern. It is located in the town centre and close to Berwick's sights and attractions. Owner made us feel very welcome and cooks a fantastic breakfast, will be returning soon!
