This is the nicest B&B we have stayed in,our hosts Sandra & Archie were lovely,our room spotlessly clean with home made cake a thoughtfull touch.Breakfast was generous & delicious.Highly recommend Number Four,we will be returning as soon as we can.P & R Harrogate

You'll be at your ease at Number Four North Road. Your welcoming hosts Sandra and Archie provided a colleague and I (walking holiday) a most comfortable and spacious bedroom and breakfast - from nicely presented fresh fruit and cereal through to the "anything you want cooked" menu - was taken in charming surroundings downstairs. Both of us are deaf - my partner's profoundly deaf and signs and I have severe hearing loss and I lip read. Sandra and Archie were fabulous hosts! They're so welcoming, attentive, friendly and gave us lots of useful information about different places to go. The room was lovely with a lovely view and clean. Fabulous bed! Breakfast was tasty... I came across this beautiful B&B on the Internet the house was just lovely and the best night sleep my husband has ever had hence we came home and bought a new mattress !! the same one we slept on .The decor and finishing touches were great. We stayed here coming from the ferry in New Castle and heading for Edinborough. We loved the little town and the B&B too. The owners Sandra and Archie are very relaxed and welcoming people.
