My friend & I stayed 3 nights whilst exploring the area. Friendly welcome. We booked the ground floor twin which was very spacious with very comfortable beds and disabled friendly. Room was clean but a little tired. Breakfast was tasty.

Used this B&B as a base when taking my 91 year old father to join in the KOSB Minden Day commemoration. Bed was a bit hard but apart from that everything was perfect. Would definitely revisit. The first floor rooms have a stunning view

Used this B&B as a base for a day trip to Edinburgh by train - perfectly positioned just a short drive from the station. Booked the accessible room - with arthritic knees I don't cope well with lugging suitcases up stairs and getting in and out of a bath - whether to bathe or shower. Lovely twin room on ground... Travelling with our dog, this seemed to be a good location and dog friendly. Overall this b & b is tired, the owners are pleasant, food average , our room was damp and had no opening window. Location is good for those travelling around.

Just returned from a 5 night break at this wonderful guest house. Everything was perfect, the room clean and comfortable, and the views were magnificent from Room 1! Wow. Christine and Tony were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble, gave us a bit of info on local places to visit and beaches that were close by. The breakfasts were... More

The greeting was a little terse when we arrived 40 mins early, but we were shown to our room, which was clean and tidy. We went out to explore and went back with a 'take away', which Margeret warmed up for us in the microwave and supplied plates etc. When we mentioned that the room was chilly, her reply was... More

We stayed for 3 nights here so we could visit our son and family who were staying at Haggerston Castle. We have stayed here a few times but not for many years. This is a great place to stop if you are travelling further down the East coast as it is on the main road by passing Berwick upon Tweed.... More

Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly with a pub restaurant just up the road which serves excellent meals, which also allows dogs into the small bar area..well worth a visit if you have a dog! Room not the best we have stayed in but quite adequate for 2 nights(room 1) The shower did not have any power so it... More
