We visited after a day at the Holy Island. If you want somewhere to stop that is clean, with good service and serves good straight forward pub grub then try this place. Would be good for young families and/or those that need to watch their pennies.

Stayed here as second last night of walking the st Cuthbert's way. It looks like a chain inn, but the staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful, the rooms in a separate chalet block were smart and modern and the food in the pub, while not haute cuisine, was certainly perfectly acceptable for what it cost. breakfast was also good.... We were staying in a cottage close by, with our dog, and ate here three times. We had to sit in the garden, as we had our dog with us, but as it was lovely warm weather we would have chosen to sit there anyway. During our few days we tried Scampi, Spiced Lamb Hotpot, Burger, and Roasted Cod. We... More

We were staying for a couple of nights at a nearby B&B, and enjoyed evening meals at The Lindisfarne Inn on consecutive evenings. Unusually, there were FOUR good veggie choices on the menu, plus a number of veggie starters, all of which was great news for us. Service was very good, with friendly, helpful staff - obviously well-trained, and all... More

It was clear that as soon as I stepped into this restaurant that it would not be pleasant. After being seated by a member of staff to a seat by the window which was styled like something from a 90 year old couple's living room I proceeded to read the menu. To be fair, the menu has quite a variety... More

Good meal and good service in restaurant.. bar area smart.. overall impresssion.. immaculate inside and out, very smart.. On main road A1, at turnoff for Holy Island.. ideally situated to base yourself for Holy island, Bamburgh and Alnick and coastal Northumberland.

We ate here. Nice inn, good selection of food. My fish and chips was wholesome and tasted delicious. My wifes veggie option was small portion wise but tasty. The main issue was the chicken burger at £10.95- good portions and trimmings but hard to cut as dry. The inn seems to makeba killing on the drinks too with a pint... More

Stayed here for a short break as had stayed previously and enjoyed the visit. We were not disappointed .. Nice central location to visit holy island and seahouses with comfortable accomodation. We enjoyed the lindisfarne inn breakfast which consists of bacon sausage beans grilled tomato hash brown and egg ( fried poached or scrambled) tea/coffee toast. Loads of choice for... More

We often eat here, and it's unpretentious good "inn fayre". Always welcoming, clean and the menu changes with regularity which is good when you are a local. Good veggie choices too. I would definitely recommend if you're visiting the area.
