We had a 3 night stay at the Lindisfarne Inn and found the Winter Break deal to be good value for money. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable of local amenities etc. The rooms warm and comfortable and well above the standard of some major chains. Like others we found the food to be good, but the menu limited on... More

On the interminable drive from Newcastle to Berwick upon Tweed is this little gem of an Inn. Perfectly situated for Lindisfarne and the glorious Northumberland Coast it offers a stunningly cosy haven from the cold winds of the North. Log fire, great grub and comfortable quiet rooms, just perfect for that special short break. The staff and extremely friendly and... More

We ate here twice during a week's stay, close by. We found the food to be good, though adding in drinks did make it a tad expensive. We went for the convenience rather than the quality. The food is tasty pub grub. The staff we very friendly and helpful

In October last we travelled from the north west of Scotland and reached this Inn for an overnight stop. The staff were very helpful and fixed us up with a very comfortable room for the night. The evening meal of house Fish and Chips was excellent and in the morning our Breakfast was a very good quality English Buffet, There... More

Spent a lovely morning on Lindisfarne, we stopped in for a quick bite to eat We should have kept going!! Member of staff that served us behind bar was rude and ill-mannered, making us feel quite unwelcome. We ordered 2 tomato and bacon soups , with a white coffee and a coke, for which we paid the whopping sum of... More

Been here a number of times for short visits with family as area is so beautiful. Accommodation is warm and comfortable and the winter deal which includes room breakfast and evening meal is excellent value. Drinks, in particular wine is expensive though. On this occasion we had no issues other than Christmas Dinner which was not up to restaurants no... More

Very pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and cleanliness of this Inn. Everything is professionally done and this really helps give a good impression upon arrival. The room was comfortable and modest but modern. The staff were friendly and the meals good for the price....I paid £50 for 1 room, and evening meal & desert and breakfast. Could not believe the... Stopped here on our way to Newcastle to have breakfast, we all had full breakfasts, toast and tea at a reasonable price. Lovely restaurant, staff very attentive and efficient. The breakfast kept us going all day. We would recommend this inn for food.
