We were staying at the nearby Haven site and called in here for an evening meal on our first night and came for the next two nights. The food and staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Do be careful not to over order though as the portions are huge. Best to book ahead to guarantee a table... More

Can recommend the Sunday roast beef very tasty and a great selection of vegetables and a huge yorkie, my daughter enjoyed the homemade tomato soup and pasta with chips pinched some of her pasta and it was very nice, my niece had a bacon burger and polished the lot. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

This is a Pub with rooms. The old pub building is a few feet from the A1 but all the rooms are reasonably newly built and are behind the main building - we didn't hear any traffic noise. The rooms are motel standard - clean, adequate size, reasonable quality bedding etc., comfortable super king bed, a large powerful shower that... More

We stayed here on the coast and castle bike ride. It was the best place we stayed. Clean rooms, quiet and the restaurant serves up huge portions. The food is not high end but after a day in the saddle it refuelled. It is typical pub grub. Good location for Holy Island, staff helpful. Good value

Firstly - congratulations on doing the `Coast to Castle' we're really going all out to gear up our facilities for cyclists so its always good to welcome guests on two wheels. Yep - we offer good pub food here - home made of course - and cooked fresh to order. Our free Wi-Fi is patchy in rooms so we do... More

We called in here on a spur of the moment stop-off for a bite to eat. As we walked in one of the other customers sitting outside said we'd love it, and was she right! The lad behind the bar said they were very busy but we did get a table. He warned there would likely be a 45 minute... More

We stopped at the Inn (as Island crossing closed), the staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble in relation to the meal we had and the manager helping us to get on the Island. Very best of luck to them all.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Holy Island.Motel style block of rooms which initially did not bode well but the room was very comfortable and well furnished. We did not stay at the hotel, we only called in for an evening meal. We were very impressed with the meal, steak and ale pie and Lindisfarne Burger. Lovely meal and reasonably priced. That's really fantastic to hear! Thank you. It's always nice when a member of our team is recognised for going that extra mile as Walter certainly does. I have sent a copy of your review on to our board and CEO - and of course to Walter who is thrilled. Please do come back again soon. More
