We wish we'd realised that there were some lovely more interesting restaurants/cafes towards Holy Island just down the road. The Lindisfarne Inn is pretty uninspiring. Order at the bar not at your table, menu where everything comes with chips, even the soups and the smoked haddock pot are full of cream. Difficult to have an interesting light lunch. It was... More

But because we had our little well behaved dog (Ted the Bichon) with us there was not one establishment on the island open that would allow this... More

Visited this lovely restaurant whilst staying local. We were not disappointed. The food was gorgeous. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and very welcoming. We would happily call again when we are in the area.

Stopped off one Saturday night for the winter break deal including evening meal and breakfast. Staff were really helpful and we found the overall package good value for money. The room was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities and biscuits and the shower was good too. Although there wasn't much choice for the evening meal the food was... More

Staying at Haggerston touring field we thought we'de pop up to this pub with our little dog for fish and chips as it was a Friday evening, first impressions when walking in was "What a fantastic pub" with an equally good quality of decoration, the staff were really nice as well, on ordering we got one of the cheaper wines,... Stayed at The Lindisfarne Inn mid-Feb 2015. It was 3 night DBB offer which was great value for money. Arrived and there was ample parking. Reception were friendly and efficient and when I got to the room (a seperate block to the rear of the main building) it was clean, tidy and well presented. The food in the restaurant was... More

I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Lindisfarne Inn and yet again it was faultless. The rooms are so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will return.
