Managed to get booked in for Valentines Night. Lovely B & B with very friendly owners Annette and Keith. Charming decor and a superb breakfast. Try the "breakfast pot" for something different ! Good value and centrally located for many of the attractions in Northumberland. Would definitely stay again.

This is a little gem....full of character and brilliant breakfasts - try a different one each day! Annette and Keith make you so welcome and make you feel like the family! Close to all Northumberland's top attractions - The Castles , Alnwick, Holy Island and en route to Scotland.

A Fantastic couple that run a lovely B&B well presented, great breakfast! But what really made our stay above and beyond the call of duty was myself and my boyfriend were attending a wedding said boyfriend forgot his shirt and tie unable to return for this, the lovely owner Keith offered a shirt and tie to borrow perfect fit I... The Old Vicarage was our first stop while walking St Oswald's Way recently, and it made a lovely start to our trip. We were given a warm welcome, and were very grateful to find that our bags had been put in our room before we arrived. The house is charming, and we had a very pretty twin room overlooking the... It was very kind of you to write such a lengthy and complimentary review - thank you! We always get positive comments from walkers about our lovely big bath, who like to soak away their aches and pains after their long walks. Breakfasts are important to us too, so it was good to hear you enjoyed yours. Thanks again. More

It's THE most luxurious B&B we've ever stayed in and that's saying something. It's tucked away behind a church and off the main road. And I believe it's the oldest building in Belford. We stayed here on our Northumberland Coastal hike, as Belford is on the St Oswald's trail. Perfect half way spot from Holy Island to Seahouses. The room... More

Every aspect of our stay here, with Swedish visitors, was a delight. The owners were charming and their property a compliment to attention to detail; from aperitif gooseberry wine to kettle & toffees in the rooms to a splendid breakfast our stay was without fault.

We stayed here when walking the Northumberland Coastal path last month. The house has been lovingly restored and filled with lots of interesting artefacts and old photos. The bath is an experience. It's original to the house and therefore makes Victorian quite modern! We stayed in the armoury, the room which used to house an old soldier from the Great... More

This B&B is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The room was delightful and luxurious and the choice of breakfast food was amazing. The owners, Annette and Keith, were such nice people so the atmosphere was homely and relaxing too. We can't fault it.

We've just walked St Oswald's Way - 100 miles of wonderful Northumberland scenery - and stayed with Annette and Keith in Belford after our first day of walking. We got a warm welcome, two extremely comfortable rooms (there were 3 of us) and a very delicious breakfast: and yes, I can vouch for Keith's kedgeree wholeheartedly. We shall definitely return.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for such positive comments. So glad you enjoyed Keith's kedgeree - it is his speciality! We especially like to welcome walkers to our home, as we both love walking too, although don't do as much of it as we used to. St Oswald's Way is one of a number... More
