We cannot fault this B&B. We were welcomed by Anne and after being shown to our room were offered a drink and cake. Our room was excellent, the decor and cleaniless fautless. Our beds were very comfortable, only the thought of breakfast enticed us out of bed in the morning. Breakfast was a good selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts... more

Even Though Our Visit Was Brief,We Were Made Very Welcome. The Room Was Very Comfortable And Spotless,And The Attention To Detail Would Be Hard To Find In a Top Hotel What Can We Say But The Breakfast Was Literally An All Day Breakfast. Very Good Location With Easy Access To Bamburgh/Alnwick And The National Park.So Much More To See Looking Forward... more

We stayed for five nights and our room was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Anne was very friendly and welcoming and we had some lovely breakfasts (the fresh summer fruits were a real treat every morning!) Very well located in a quiet village but very close to both the National Park and the coast. We would stay nowhere else when... more

An absolutely wonderful guest house and unbelievably helpful & knowledgeable staff. Read the website and believe all you see about the house and staff. All rooms were spacious and scrupulously clean, and Ann proved to be a fund of knowledge on the local area. OK, I have one small complaint - the breakfast sausage on day 1 was not to... more

After riding 84 miles it was great to be given such a warm welcome. The Guest House is beautiful with everything you could want. Ensuite facilities were second to none. Anne, our host, provided some wonderful touches and hidden surprises which kept me smiling throughout my visit. The food was excellent. The Farmhouse Guest House had good drying facilities and... more

Having recently stayed for 1 night, this is by far the best B&B that we have stayed in the UK. Attention to detail and much more, we cannot praise it enough. Thanks very much indeed to you Anne, your hospitality is so very much appreciated for your care and attention. more

This b&b is run by Anne, a true professional. What makes it so special is her attention to detail from the way the spacious and comfortable rooms are furnished and equipped to the information she has carefully researched and has at her fingertips. In addition Belford is well-placed for visiting lots of places, for example: Bamburgh, Seahouses, the Farne Islands... more

My mum came to visit me in the Fife area of Scotland and we have seen a lot of Scotland. So this trip she asked me to plan something different. I surfed the web and decided that Northern England would be a great place. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night and can only say nice things about the guest house.... more
