Stayed for a couple of nights at the Craster Arms after struggling to find somewhere to stay near Bamburgh. Wasn't sure what to expect but was extremely pleased with our room which was a bedroom with adjoinging lounge area with flat screen tv, couch, breakfast table and fridge. Stylish and modern decor and fittings. Small but adequate bathroom. Pretty village... more

After touring the area of North Northumberland for the past week we decided to call into the Craster Arms for an evening meal alongside a group of family and friends. We had recieved a glowing reccomendation from some friends who had previuosly called in for a meal a few weeks past, we certainly were not disapointed! The pub was packed... more

We didn't stay in this hotel just called in for a family meal while holidaying locally. Although the food was ok, the service was appalling, we waited and waited for our dessert as the staff were busy, in the end we had to ask several times, all the time from where we sat we could see the chef stood drinking... more

For £80 per night you can't complain. Very clean hotel, large room - double bed, plasma TV, 2 couches, en suite with large shower. Full English breakfast included which you could alter to suit your tastes. Attached bar/restaurant is good, unfortunately some of the 'locals' don't like tourists! Very good value for money - thus it gets 5 stars (had... more

We escaped from our apartment at Chillingham Castle and went in search of a nearby hotel. We found the Craster Arms and they had a vacancy. The rooms were nice, plasma screen TV, modern bathroom, one double bed, and two couches. However, it was expensive even for all of that and an English breakfast. (With breakfast there weren't many options... more

We found the accomodation in this area generally suprisingly expensive and visited a few places but were not prepared to pay the prices they asked - between 70 and 120 pounds a night for the room. (It was the Easter weekend so maybe these were higher than usual) We came across the Craster arms and at 90 a night for... more

Quoted £85(by 2 different staff) for an apartment that would accommodate 5 people. On arrival, was told that the apartments only slept 4 and ended up having to pay £185 for the night. The manager was extremely unpleasant and would not accept that any of his staff would have quoted for 5 people. I was appalled at his attitude and... more
