The Craster is a busy village pub, which has managed to retain its character and charm. The food is home cooked and good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and you can take your dog into the bar. An ideal watering hole. Rooms are well appointed and spotless.

The Craster Arms was recommended to us by our B&B landlady and boy was she right. This is a very popular place and very busy but saying that the service was quick, polite and friendly. Both my wife and I had sea food and my Cod fillet was so large it was hanging off both ends of my plate. The... More

What a brilliant stay we had, tried to book a room on line and when I was having problems Michael sprang to my aid and ensured that the pair of us and the dog were safely esconced in room 2. Warm welcome from the staff and served a delicious meal efficiently and with lashings of good humour. Could not have... More

A good welcome, good location - walk to the beach, walk along the beach, north or south. Didn't do the pool or fitness centre. We did appreciate decent real ale and food out in the garden. Lots of information in the room, and a mini bar.

recently stayed here on a b/b basis for 3 nights, the comments that follow refer to room 1 which is ground floor based. firstly postitves ( of which there are many) - room 1 is a massive double/family size room, accessible via a private accommodation front door or via an access door from the bar ( incredibly handy after a... We have just spent a lovely week in the village of Beadnell where the Craster Arms Pub is situated. The staff are very friendly and the food, whilst slightly more expensive than your average pub grub, is excellent and worth the money. The beer garden is very large and is a haven for dogs and children. There is a lovely... More

Wow, many pubs around the area could learn a few lessons on what people want to see on a menu. We went in three pubs in seahouses the evening before and we're severely dissappointed by the lack choice on the menu or the fussy menu's which didn't suit families. This place is perfect, has a great varied choice of traditional... More

Been going to Craster Arms for last 24 years - seen it through many changes and a few owners. Its improved again - Chico takes pride in the quality of his food, ingredients and customer service. Rooms clean, quiet and spacious. We hope to keep going for another 24 years to this (unspoilt) hidden gem in Northumberland coast - so... More

Went as part of Gourmet deals pubs on way to holiday in Northumberland. Easy to find and nice spacious pub! Good menu and specials board but would have been four star if it wasnt for the 45 minute wait for food! When it came great portion size, salad crazy, but well cooked and nicely presented.
