Called in yesterday for a bar lunch. Two had homemade pie, veg and chips. I had battered north sea cod (more like a whale!), chips, mushy peas and a tossed salad. The food was excellent and the portions enormous. Would recommend and definitely visit again when in the area.

Having spent the week in Seahouses with my Husband, Baby Daughter and Mother-In-Law, we decided to eat at the Craster Arms on our last night and how disappointed we're we to have not visited sooner, I'm sure had we visited earlier in the holiday we would have eaten here more than once, the meal was delicious, the staff were very... Had lunch here whilst on holiday in the area. Having got our head round a need for soup and a roll we were disappointed to find that soup was definitely off the menu on the day of our visit. Had some lovely sandwiches instead. We got there early and had a choice of tables, whilst we were there the place... More

We were staying in Beadnell again and this time enjoyed three evenings meals at this excellent pub. Service is good and the staff very friendly and obliging. Great menu choices and the food is substantial and very tasty. The pub is dog friendly, an important factor for us though we preferred to eat in the room at the entrance to... More

From the minute Connor showed us to our rooms, to checking out, the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, something some more expensive hotels could aspire to. Room layout was great, a sofa came in handy for just chilling in the room after a hard days walking. The bed was comfortable and a good size for my 6'4... More

Very average bar - seems like a typical national chain-owned, characterless and bland. Can't comment on the food as the menu looked like a typical Brakes-supplied, micro-wave job, so we didn't bother. There really wasn't much atmosphere, and there were no local ales on the day we went. The garden was, however, very attractive a well-designed so a plus there.... More

Nice clean comfortable pub - problem for us was that the emphasis is more on supplying huge portions of food . For me I would have preferred the emphasis to be more on quality and less on quantity . My wife ordered a Gammon steak with chips - the steak was massive but way too fatty and came with a... More

The Craster Arms is a pub with rooms located in the centre of Beadnell. It has a large and sunny beer garden, and the rooms are situated at the end of the building, well away from the busy bar. Our room was large - in a posh hotel they'd call it a suite - it was comfortable and clean, the... More
