This place is immaculately clean. The rooms are very bright and spacious and the bathroom was updated. The location was right on the main street and convenient to everything. Our only problem was that the TV was on a very low stand and was difficult to watch. The full breakfasts are very good as well. more

Leo is the hard working, friendly proprietor of his extremely clean B & B with a great location, The rooms are contemporary and there's nothing you can find fault with. My husband and I spent three days in Alnwick staying at Tates. It is well situated for exploring both Alnwick itself and the lovely surrounding coast. Great location for seeing Alnwick Castle & Gardens. Leo was very accomodating with great breakfast, he has rennovated the guest house beautifully. Rooms are spaceous, clean and very comfortable. Would definately stay again if in the area. more

Alnwick is a good centre and a worth the visit in its own right. We stayed in the back double room at Tate House which is good, or very good except the mattress. Very friendly and informative owner and a good breakfast. (No problem for a special diet). more
