We stayed in the lady Jane bray room last week .the room was large and well furnished ,and the bed was very comfortable . The room was very quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was certainly large and set you up for the day. Chrissy and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The area has plenty to explore... More

Recently stayed in this Hotel and it was very nice. We had food on the evening we arrived, steak pie with a choice of mash and gravy. The rooms are big enough for 2 people and lots of luggage and the shower is very good. The staff/owner are very friendly as well. If you are passing through or looking for... More

Not the cleanest of rooms and in need of some TLC but then it is an old building and not pricey. Nice and handy centre of town location with very helpful staff and free Wi-Fi and a car park to the rear. Didn't have the breakfast and so can't comment in this department.

Stayed with my daughter in the twin Earl of Derwentwater room. We were shown to it by a very helpful and friendly young lady who was working behind the bar. The room was large and we were supplied with two soft white towels and toiletries. We both slept very well, as the beds were extremely comfortable. We went down for... More

Stayed here on our last night of our trip around Northumberland. Our room was large, very clean and had everything you needed. Best nights sleep we had. Staff were really friendly and helpful and was even willing to come in early to serve us an early breakfast. Breakfast was very good and great selection. Off street parking and central location... Popped in for a couple of hours whilst other half was getting hair extensions. Took the little Pomeranian along as it stated dog friendly. It was a very warm and welcoming pub, the staff could not of been nicer. A very refreshing pint at a reasonable price for Middle of Alnwick. Will definitely be returning and will

Not really a hotel with only three rooms available, but ours (No. 1) was spacious, spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, with private parking immediately outside. Breakfast comprised wide choice of cereals, porridge, and Full English. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived too late (21:30) for dinner, but the Chinese restaurant across the road sufficed.

Visited Alnwick last week. We were looking for a dog friendly pub to have lunch, came across Queens Head. The staff were very friendly, all of them came to fuss our dog and also brought our dog a bowl of water. Food was good aswell.

The staff at the Queen's Head Hotel were all extremely friendly and helpful from the start. Our room was warm and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic - so much food! The atmosphere in the pub was lovely and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Alnwick.
