Lovely small country B&B. The food was first class, both breakfast and evening meal. Ideally situated for Northumberland, beach only a few miles away. Room clean with plent of space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend staying here. more

Enjoyed a short break at the Mason's Arms. Went with husband and elderly parents. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Pretty little hotel in a lovely rural setting. Only thing that spoiled stay was weather, however do not think that was within the owners' remit. Would be very happy to stay here again. more

We loved our two-night stay at the Masons Arms. Both the bedroom and bathroom were were large, light and airy . Loved the blue and white colour scheme - very cosy and comfortable. A three night stay in a Premier king-size suite. Plenty of pluses and a few small minuses. Minuses: There was no dressing table. The room was adequate but no more for a 'premier' room. There was no soap tray or any other container in the shower cubicle. No ironing board (although told there was one in the Welcome booklet). One... more

What can we say...........the room was clean but very basic. The atmosphere was non existent and the owners have cut more corners on the breakfast than Jenson Button. For what they're charging Dick Turpin would be proud. Stay clear!!! more
