3rd time stayed here, cant fault it, nice friendly staff, big comfy rooms, food good, petrol st & costa next door, i think some people winge for wingeing sake, you get what you pay for, and for £99, a 2 course evening meal, large rm and breakfast, what more can you ask for,

After waiting for an hour and a half for some sandwiches and chips we were sick as chips! No explanation of why and we had to ask for free drinks not offered. We also had to pay £64 for our bill which they were only too happy to take. Once the food did eventually arrive it was very poor. This... More

called for lunch this afternoon (4 adults & 2kids) despite the place being relatively empty and half a dozen staff milling around we waited one and a half (yes 1 1/2) hours for a simple order which consisted of scampi chips, baked potatoes, and some chips for the kids. Far better service to be had in the town where one... More

Came for a winter weekend break. Advertised from £44.95 pppn, but actually cost £119 for two people. Checked in just after 2.30pm, to find that our allocated room had no bath and on enquiring at reception, were told that there were no other rooms available. Allocated room at the back of the hotel faced the A1 dual carriageway, so there... More

After a day at the coast we booked to stay here overnight to avoid a long drive home. At first glance it was clean, tidy and we'll maintained. On entrance we were welcomed by a man who was polite and friendly. He checked us in without any wait and gave us all the info we needed. The room was excellent.... More

Stayed here with my young children over Christmas for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast My first impression of staying here was that the staff were all so friendly and welcoming and very engaging with my children and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The room was beautiful and extremely spacious (I could not believe the size of... More

We booked in for the evening meal with Bed and Breakfast. We were celebrating a Birthday; unfortunately one of the party was taken ill and needed to go to hospital. The staff were helpful and accommodating; as our meal needed to be put back. Staff showed concern and gave offers of support. The food was lovely. accommodation warm, clean, spacious.

I stayed here for the weekend in September '15 whilst celebrating a friends wedding. There was a large group of us (including the bride and groom) so we took up several rooms. The inn is situated just off a roundabout and main road leading into Alnwick. It would be a long walk but a short car ride to the town... More
