Cannot fault this place at all. The owners are both lovely and made us feel very welcome in their home. We were given the family room, which is a very spacious room, it is beautifully decorated with a good size en suite and lovely views across the fields to the sea. The bed was very comfortable and a good nights... More

Second to none, the couple, Neil and Tracey were lovely and welcoming. Neil works on the boats that go to Farne, so just ask, and he will book a trip. Want a kipper? He will get it. Best breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Only downside, a way a way from anywhere to eat in the evenings, entails a drive.

Lovely warm welcome as usual. Comfortable modern room and hearty breakfast leave you ready to explore beautiful Northumberland. Tracey and Neil can't do enough for you to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The proximity of the A1 is a great convenience for exploring and no road noise can be heard at all. Looking forward to staying here again

What can I say - I echo the sentiments of the other 5 star ratings for this B&B. A few soundbites to summarise my stay: very friendly & welcoming hosts, beautiful tasteful conversion of an old building, very comfortable, a sound nights sleep - even with the window open there was little noise from the A1, high level of attention... We stayed two nights, the room was cosy and warm with a very nice en-suite shower room. The walk in wardrobe is great. A very good selection on the hospitality tray. Dining area was really nice and what a great breakfast. Location is ideal for visiting Alnwick, Berwick, the coast or the moors. The owners were really friendly and made... More

Booked this B&B off the net and although I made a blind choice we were not dissappointed. The host Neil welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room was freshly decorated and well appointed. There was a superb gallery in the dining area of paintings and prints by Neil's father who is well known local artist. They were... More

We stayed for one night only at the coach house. The room was well appointed and the owners were welcoming. The only fault was a very low water pressure in the shower but my previous house had the same problem and its difficult to remedy. It was only a minor issue and not enough to mark an otherwise excellent establishment... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst taking part in a 26 mile trek from beadnell to lindisfarne. Tracey and Neil were great hosts. Neil even got up at 6am to cook us breakfast on the morning of the trek as we had to leave at 6.30. This was a lovely b and b. We have stayed... More
