We stayed with Lyn for two nights and the nicest thing was that she made us feel very much at home. Her cottage is immaculate but still cosy, comfortable. Our ensuite room was lovely with great beds and a lovely, newly decorated bathroom. Wonderful breakfast too! Lovely location and SO peaceful. Lyn also gave me one of the best massages... More

Only stayed one night but felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Lyn was very helpful & made us feel like close friend's just come to visit. Room & indeed whole house was immaculate (the no shoes policy really works, as indeed no pets!), lovely big bed & great big ensuite bathroom with full length bath... More

We stayed for two nights here upon recommendation from my parents. We received a lovely warm welcome and were very pleased with our room. We felt so at home at Callaly and had such a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was definitely our Indian Head Massages which we had on our first morning - this really set us up... More

Dear Fiona Thankyou for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It is so nice when our guests feel at home, and that is such a compliment. I'm glad you both enjoyed your massages and that they helped with the general unwinding... Hope to see you again in summer, and looking forward to a return visit from mum... More

This was our second visit and we received a very warm welcome by Lyn. We appreciated the quiet rural location, which was ideal for a good nights sleep and star viewing, the only downside being having to drive 10-15 mins for evening meal/takeaway. The spacious and calmly decorated room and bathroom, combined with the garden with sunny seating and animals,... More

Our booking was to visit family in a neighbouring village so all we wanted was a bed for a couple of nights. We received so much more, a genuine and warm but not over-powering welcome, a very pleasant and homely room with everything tastefully immaculate and with many thoughtful touches and a lovely breakfast which just spoilt us for choice.... The best B&B we have stayed in, very clean, comfortable and warm, peaceful and relaxing. We were made very welcome by Lyn, and felt very much at home. Great breakfast, and substantial packed lunches (well worth the £5 cost) made it so easy to enjoy every day without worrying about finding somewhere to eat - very useful out of season.... More

We had a very warm welcome and felt at home at once. The bedroom & bathroom were both spacious, warm and spotless, and the bed very comfortable. We much appreciated the variety of teas and coffees plus a packet of chocolate biscuits waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was superbly cooked and presented, and plenty of it with a... More
