A wonderful place to stay for bed and breakfast and only a five minute walk to the centre of Alnwick. Quality accomodation,ample parking, welcoming hosts and excellent food - the breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was Michelin star quality. We enjoyed a long weekend at this charming B & B with a country house feel, within walking distance of Alnwick town centre. The hosts were warm and friendly, the bedroom (The Blue Room) extremely comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. We would certainly recommend it. more

We were very fortunate to find a room available there,having just turned up without a booking. Mr and Mrs Woollett were really welcoming and there was no need to look further once we saw our room. Made to feel really welcome from minute we arrived. Room was spotless. Lovely touches like chocolates on bed, glass of wine when arrived. Full breakfast was amazing kept us going all day! Would recommend to anyone. The nicest place we have stayed (and the cleanest). 5 stars. more
