Warm & Welcoming stay in this delightful guest house. The hosts made you very welcome as did their daughter when they went on holiday themselves. Clean & Comfortable accomodation in a quiet suburban area of Alnwick, central to the town centre and its abundance of restaurants and cafe bars.

A beautiful house located in a quiet neighborhood. You will relax in a place like this! Good and plentiful breakfast is Scottish, and everything else and the room large and comfortable. The owners are two people who are truly exquisite. To come back for sure! Recommended.

I had stayed here as a single traveller for 2 nights while in the area and was made to feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was lush! Its only 5 min walk in to town, and I had made to feel like nothing was too much trouble and would make sure that everything is... More

This place was really nice with a nice big well decorated room, nice bed, nice shower and great breakfast. The location was good for walking into town. The owners Jan and Henry were very welcoming and friendly. The parking is tight in the street outside but most places are. This street was very quiet at night which was good for... More

We stayed here for one night, our family of four split between two rooms. Jan was very welcoming, the rooms were clean and warm. The breakfast was very good too. The house is a 5 minute walk from the town centre, very close to the Castle and Gardens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed here for one night by myself after a long journey and Beaconsfield was an oasis of quiet. Everything was clean and tidy and the single bed was really comfortable. Tv and tea/coffee in room. Plenty of choice for breakfast. A lovely friendly host. I can't think of any negatives and I would go back again.

I'm only able to echo the other positive reviews for this b&b - Jan (the host/owner) was very friendly and welcoming; the room was well maintained, clean, warm, comfortable and quiet; complimentary tea, coffee and nice oaty biscuits provided; the bathroom was fine with an excellent power shower and breakfast was great. The only minus I can think of (took... More

We spent a week travelling the country staying in various B&B's. This was by far the best venue we stayed at and was also the cheapest! Lovely large room with a top quality TV, comfy bed & great en-suite (the shower was brilliant!). Breakfast was good and the owners were really friendly without being overpowering. Don't be put off by... More

Stayed at the Beaconsfield B&B for 1 night and it was a great B&B, Jan came to meet us immediately and we felt at home straight away. There was tea and coffee in the room. I can not fault this B&B, the room was perfect and the breakfast even better would definitely go back there 5 out of 5

My girlfriend and I were made warmly welcome upon entering the front door by the lovely Jan. The B&B was absolutely wonderful with spacious, clean rooms with en suite bathroom. Breakfast was also hearty and delicious. For those smokers amongst you Jan allows you to smoke in the rear yard which pleased my girlfriend emmensely!! In summary this is an... More
