I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 3 nights starting Thursday. I new of it because I drive past it every day and the reviews were quite promising. It is also a pub so i thought meals were sorted. I arrived at the hotel upon confirming that I can easily check in until 11pm. The hotel is really... More

Recently stayed here for one night. We arrived here around 7.30 Saturday night, after asking the bar staff if we could check in we were waiting 15 minutes, I then asked another member of staff if we could check in she replied how short staffed they were. After finally getting our keys, we were not shown to our rooms, just... More

This hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. Even though t is situated on a main A road, the rooms are very quiet. Food excellent value for money, we had the Rib Eye steaks that were on the special board, cooked to perfection and two for £14.95 was brilliant value. Plenty of piping hot food with the full... More

Great value for money Bed and Breakfast, good quality breakfast, Helpful staff. Room was clean and en-suite good sized bathroom. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal - was standard fare but with a 2 for 1 offer and by booking on line a further 20% applying, more value for a cheap weekend break.

I can not believe how embarrassed I was, by making the choice to hold our Christmas party at this pub/restaurant. .... services was extremely poor, food was tasteless and everyone in my party without exception was freezing, there was no hearting on in the restaurant. This place totally failed to deliever any thing that you would expect from the glossy... More

Went for a birthday lunch here and the manager made it sound as though we were an inconvenience as they were expecting a busy lunch time. She also proceeded to serve a 'regular' customer (she said so herself) first despite us being in the queue before him. Food was average, burnt nachos and rock hard baguettes. Although the dessert was... More
